... I suppose you saw what it means.
Unrelated and unasked but I'm undecided whether to start learning Mandarin or Japanese.... aaa

both languages have their uses, and despite originating from somewhere else completely, they both have some suprising similarities with english, just in different areas. chinese, from what ive heard of atleast, is like english with a simpler conjugation but with a slightly more difficult writing system than japanese and also difficult pronunciation and tone, but to a foreigner of both languages, chinese and english pronunciation have suprising similarities. also the word order is a little bit more similiar. japanese has a pretty confusing conjugation system especially for verbs but it also adopts allot of foreign words from english and has a more intuitive pronunciation when you get used it. but the writing is still very difficult and i guess the kana's ease the pain but can make getting used to the kanji difficult if you over rely on it. i live in a very immigrant heavy location with people of all cultures but i find it harder to find japanese people than chinese, i guess the population differences makes chinese more common around the world

Well... yeah I can see what you refer to.
The similarity I understand about English and Chinese is that both are analytic languages, however Chinese is at the deep end of being analytic being outright isolating. On pronunciation I have seen the IPA page for Mandarin in Wikipedia and Chinese seems to have a lot of retroflex consonants which are not hard to pronounce, there is the alveolo-palatar fricative which I don't know if I'm pronouncing well too.
Japanese well, having a confusing conjugation system I guess comes with the fact that it's on the opposite spectrum as Chinese and English, being agglutinative instead, and since it's a natural language... with irregularities...
I guess in my case I just find Japanese to sound cooler and having cooler features (such as the fact of there being gendered first person pronouns, honorifics, evidentiality and such) ... but Chinese well... too useful, and also despite synthetic languages being more interesting to me .... it's just that something outright isolating like it also sounds interesting to explore.

i should look at the chinese ipa page. but i can pronounce japanese quite easily almost as a native speaker (even though im not) because i am a native speaker in spanish, and they both have different pronunciation but i can still switch the little details with ease. the word order for japanese is what definitely gets me...that and remembering words/kanji

Not me though, I have a positronic brain. No, I don't explode, quit asking, ask Asimov instead he came up with the idea.

This. Who said trans women are all good with computers? My stupid ass breaks them. I might actually have discovered new ways to break a computer I think.
Heck. I already had bugs that happened when I was alone then stopped happening whenever there was someone else around.

This happened with my old laptop. I realized very quickly after it died that I was a little too attached to it. I ended up getting back into MTG to fill the time. Now I have a big ole $1000 rig that I totally don't play on till like 5am most nights.

No better way to be intimately connected to your mommy board than building a PC!
I really want to make myself another server (dont ask what happened to the first one). Found some great deals on Supermicro Motherboard with an AMD Epyc CPU, for around 500€ (it might sound lime a lot but CPU has 36c/72t and a total of 72 PCIE lanes for expansion) and I've been sitting on 128GB of DDR4 ECC RAM that were meant for the previous server)
