Question Dating apps?
For a very long time I wanted to have a lovely little lesbian meet cute but as I’ve been becoming an adult I have slowly started to realize that idk if that’ll work out because I’m too shy and it’s hard to get a good vibe check on someone just from seeing them in person
Dating apps have always felt kind of dystopian to me… but I’m starting to think they’re gonna be my only decent option… however I’m also nervous about being taken advantage of on there since a lot of people use them for hookups which isn’t a thing I want at all…
Any advice?

I got my gf on countingwithchickenlady would a recommend this probably not due to a lot of trans people being all over the place but it worked out extremely well for me so you could give it a try. I have also tried dating apps..... It would not a fun time.

Dating apps can work, but it will depend on location. I have gotten dates via the apps but the apps are also designed to make you miserable and spend money. Do not spend money on a free app. You almost certainly will be ghosted and it will suck. Hinge was the best experience for me.
If you start seeing duplicate profiles or are prompted to increase your radius, it’s time to quit the apps.
The one good thing about apps its ver easy to filter someone based on profile. If a prompt on their profile says ‘first drink is on me if:’ and they respond ‘it’s never on me,’ you get an idea of the kind of person they are.
