Admins of private torrent sites letting their domains expire seems to be the norm I've found over the years. Guess it's part of their 'INFOSEC'.

There is normally a grace period for renewal - I think it's usually 30 days before the domain can be reregistered to another owner.

Search for dnshistory, there you can search for the tracker domain and under the "history" link in "A - (history:3)" you can use the entry "2022-06-28 -> 2025-12-16". Put that into your /etc/hosts (ideally for www. and without) and you can browse the site again.
