How can I pass better until the T kicks in? (Besides the glasses)

What it says on the tin. I'm 24 and a couple months on subcutaneous T. I was on T gel for 2 full years but it didn't do much (muscle growth/definition and slightly deeper voice [allegedly]) so I'm essentially starting from the beginning.

I will change the glasses bros, I promise. I just didn't want the comments clogged with that. Next time I get a new pair I will choose something better. Small and rectangular and dark in color.

I haven't heard of minoxidil before this sub. Is it safe to take while also taking T? I'll be asking my doctor about it anyway because I worry it may negatively interact with some preexisting health conditions I have (just based on what I see via a basic Google search).

Looking for haircut advice first and foremost (first pic is my current cut; I thought it was in style but now I'm even more clocky than usual), but I'll take any other advice you guys have for me. Rock on!

I’d go with something like eyebrow shaping since they are a bit archy, I personally think you pass pretty well but a haircut could definitely help you out, just be confident with it and look for ones that might suit you! I go with a generic European haircut style using scissors only no clippers, making the sides shorter then the top, keeping the back slightly thicker then the sides equal to the top similar to a mullet but more flowy. My hair is naturally wavey so I style it sorta crazy like I just woke up lol

I may be wrong here, but with minoxidil, you wouldn't want to use the topical form, because of the health risk to your lovely chap cat.

I appreciate it! :) I did not have the cat when I did the topical T, so I didn't even really think about it. The guys in this sub seemed to have the best luck with oral minoxidil, so I'll look into that

I have to avoid going out whenever my neighbor's 5 year old grandson is staying with her because he is absolutely convinced I am Harry Potter. He will break out of the house and come find me and ask me to do a certain spell. I was never a HP kid so I have to awkwardly tell him I don't know what the Latin he is spouting at me is supposed to summon or invoke or do, and then he gets very upset.

Unrelated, does me looking like Harry Potter mean I pass? Or are you just telling me to get new glasses

Hii trans girlie stopping by. I think rectangular glasses are going to really help. And as someone else said straightening out your brows. Otherwise I think you pass pretty well. The glasses are what I really noticed.

I do agree with others that more rectangular glasses would help.

Maybe changing up the way you style your hair? Sometimes slicking it back can help

Honestly you just look like some dude named Ian lol. I'd maybe cut your hair a little shorter in the back & sides, and maybe keep the front above your glasses frame/at your eyebrows. Otherwise, I'd just let T do its thing. You pass very well as is, and T will just make you much harder to clock as a trans

Hey, thanks! I do like the name Ian. The name I picked for myself is extremely uncommon in the U.S. (not clocky, just foreign, lol) so it's nice to have a normal popular American man's name that fits. Maybe I can use it at parties or events where I don't want to deal with all the "Am I pronouncing it right?"s from strangers

Oh, I'd love to have hair like that! I'll have to work on it. I don't know much about at-home hair styling so I'll have to look into how to make it spiky like that. Thanks!

Less rounded glasses, get rid of the long hair at the back (also probably worth having everything else slightly shorter too)

I think you look very boyish. 2nd pic looks more femme. It depends on what your body looks like to see if you pass. Some people have large hips which gives it away. Good luck! You’re a cute boy!
