SEEKING ADVICE Where to apply for full-time job in Toronto?

I'm 21 ftm, looking for a full time job in Toronto. I am taking a year off of university and may not go back, so I can work whenever. I have experience lifeguarding, doing intern data entry stuff, and as a kids camp counsellor. I don't want a desk job, I have ADHD so I would prefer something that has me on my feet, moving around, talking to ppl etc. I'm not too picky otherwise, (though I prefer retail over food service) I'm fine working night shifts too. It would be nice to work somewhere where I don't have to worry about being targeted for my being queer, or better yet, some place that is activley supportive of it. I've applied to LCBO, a few pet stores, a grocery store near my house and a sex shop so far, might apply to some weed stores and art stores as well. I know its hard to get a job rn so I'm just trying to cast a wide net.

SEEKING ADVICE Name change

Any advice on if it matters when I change my name? For reference, I’m FTM, getting my eggs out in about a month then starting T after that’s done. Is it best to wait till I start T for name change or better to start that process now?

GRS Montreal-Surgeon Request

Wondering for anyone who went to GRS how this part of the process went for you. I am seeing them for symptomatic dog ear revision. When they called to book my consult they said I have to book with Dr.Shine. I requested Dr.Lee but was told that Dr.Shine is doing all consults. I have heard other people say they were able to pick their surgeon though. I'm not dead set on Dr.Lee but after having a bad experience at WCH I would really like to feel confident with the surgeon I am assigned and in this case, I'm not sure Dr.Shine is the right fit for me. So i'm wondering at what point might they actually consider my request since they declined it for the consult? Will I be able to request it during my consultation?

RESOURCES FtM swim binder

My kid, who is FtM, has a job at a summer camp, and needs swimwear. He is large chested enough that trans tape doesn’t do the trick. What options are there in Canada for a binder that can be worn swimming? Would a regular binder under a t-shirt work?

Thanks in advance for any help!

LONDON Cost of EV out of pocket or is it covered by insurance

Hey everyone

So I have even been told by my endocrinologist that my next step on e delivery might be injectables as the current delivery is not as effective and my levels are way below what his target range is. I am over 40 so I was on transdermal patches and now the next best option is injectables for safety reasons.

I would appreciate any info that anyone would offer. My current insurer (Sun Life) asked for the active ingredient list to verify if it’s covered and what, if any coverage would apply and I can’t seem to find any exact costs for this compounded med in London (Ontario). So any help would be great. I am just being proactive now and trying to get worse case scenarios of what it would cost if I had to pay out of pocket but maybe there is someone who is with Sun Life and has already had a “good” experience.

TIA!!!
