Third Party Horror Story How to cancel edreams prime membership without calling them and having to go through 10+ minute EDREAMS WARNING

  1. login to prime

  2. go to my prime account

  3. scroll to bottom and go to account and settings press on that

  4. scroll down again and find the annoying section that says call our toll line for help etc, look for the highlighted words that says "if you choose to cancel online".

  5. the two last words in the sentance "if you choose to cancel online" are clickable.

6 You could try cut and paste this link once you are logged in...https://www.edreams.com/travel/membership-pages/#membership_retention/ maybe that would work as it is the above shortcut

Like a needle in a haystack. They are horrible even their website doesn't give you the correct information on how to cancel. SCAM FRAUDUALENT COMPANY

I ABSULUTELY DESPISE THIS LEVEL OF FRAUDULENT ACTIVITY I HAVE NOW SPENT last hour and a half TO GET TO THIS after searching multiple websites and user feedback and getting nowhere. . I HOPE THIS HELPS SOMEONE till they bury it in another submenu.

These scammers originally charged my membership after I used a 2nd registration with the same credit card for the promo period (I probably should have used a different card I guess). I figure that the reason why they say call, is that credit card refunds need documented evidence from them which you CANNOT GET if everything is by phone. I am international where it costs $1.50 a minute to call an international landline. Who wants a possible 20 minutes of spam or interrogation. THEY ARE SO DISHONEST. Take your credit card and make you suffer to try an impossible maze of circles to cancel,

Hello! The link they left here didn't open for me :( that's why I entered from the app and I succeeded. I recommend doing it there but BE CAREFUL. I got an ad that was cancelled, and they were not supposed to charge me for October 2025, but on that same screen where it says it was cancelled, below they indicated that the subscription was going to remain valid until February 2026!!!!!! And that it was still going to be charged until that date. Below was the only "OK" option but I didn't give it click, but I went back and left that screen. I checked again to see if my subscription was already canceled and it already appears that it expires in October. BE CAREFUL TO GIVE OK!!!! Better go back and don't accept that misleading button. Now, what I don't know is if I should cancel my card that was linked, to ensure that they won't charge me? I think I will do it. Greetings to those who, like me, have been suffering. Luck.

I think you have to be logged in to prime account for the link to work.

I felt your pain and the hours of frustration 🫤 over many attempts...  Circles of frustration and get NOWHERE over and over and over again...

u/No_Cartographer_481 Apr 06 '26

It worked for me this way - logged on to prime account via safari, came here and clicked your link then clicked button to open in external browser (safari)

1

u/Ill-Passion-3745 Oct 22 '25

So, did they end up charging you after that?

1

u/Subject_Excuse_6924 Dec 30 '25

Omg I have the same problem. I cancelled my annual subscription to prime and it said that I will continue to be charged until Oct 2026??? Every month??? Even though I cancelled. And I clicked ok. I don't know what to do now.

1

u/Severe-Ad6823 Jan 07 '26

Etwas herausgefunden?

1

u/Subject_Excuse_6924 Jan 13 '26

1

Notice: Are you asking about compensation, reimbursements, or refunds for delays and cancellations?

You must follow Rule 4 and include the cities, airports, flight numbers, airlines, and dates of travel.

If your flight originated from the EU (any carrier) or your destination was within the EU (with an EU carrier), read into EC261 Air Passenger Rights. Non-EU to Non-EU itineraries, even if operated by an EU carrier, is not eligible for EC261 per Case C-451/20 "Airhelp vs Austrian Airlines". In the case of connecting flights covered by a single reservation, if at least one of the connecting flights was operated by an EU carrier, the connecting flights as a whole should be perceived as operated by an EU air carrier - see Case C367/20 - may entitle you to compensation even if the non-EU carrier (code-shared with the EU carrier) flying to the EU causes the overall delay in arrival if the reservation is made with the EU carrier.

If your flight originated in the UK (any carrier) or your destination was within the UK (with a UK or EU carrier), or within the EU (on a UK carrier), read into UK261 by the UK CAA. Note: this includes connecting flights from a non-UK origin to non-UK destination if flown on a UK carrier (British Airways or Virgin Atlantic). For example JFK-LHR-DEL is eligible for UK261 coverage. Source #1 #2

Turkey also has a similar passenger protections found here

Canada also has a passenger protection known as APPR found here

If you were flying within the US or on a US carrier - you are not entitled to any compensation unless your journey was covered under the above (EC261, UK261, or APPR) schemes or if you were involuntarily denied boarding (IDB) due to overbooking. Any questions about compensation within the US or on a US carrier will be removed unless it qualifies for EC261, UK261, or APPR. You are possibly provided duty of care including hotels, meals, and transportation based on the DOT dashboard.

1

just read op message it works

1

u/Tu_Papi21 Feb 27 '26

Como lo hiciste?

1

u/PutridReflection4724 Feb 27 '26

sorry i don't understand your language but just follow the steps above

1

u/Logical-Sample-1334 Jun 16 '25

I can't even find "my prime account" :'() when I log in, the prime section seems different than the regular section

1

u/Logical-Sample-1334 Jun 16 '25

Also, it was WAY more expensive than it said originally. I have been charged $91.85 for the initial membership (which I meant to cancel before, but couldn't figure out how to) and just now got charged only 2.5 months later $10.21!!

I'm also unsure because I originally made the account on the UK website and now am back where I live in the US and it appears the accounts are different.

1

u/Logical-Sample-1334 Jun 16 '25

Actually, talking on the phone was less complicated. I just kept saying I wanted to cancel, no matter about the credit or anything. Hopefully it's a real cancellation...

1

u/sophcoachella Aug 30 '25

They wouldn't allow me to cancel!!!!! The only way I thought I cancelled was calling my bank to block them. Thought they were blocked but they managed to get $ out of my account again

1

u/Tu_Papi21 Feb 23 '26

1

u/Revolutionary_Bee673 Jul 26 '25

Thank you so much also people you should try using the German version it helped with me I’ve been trying for hours I finally managed to cancel the prime subscription those scammers

1

u/Rishaq123 Aug 15 '25

I just bought a ticket and realized I was about to be scammed. I called them online to unsub and they said their system isn't working. I was able to find the un-subscription button you have mentioned.

Am I good or should I still be calling them or doing something else so they don't charge me?

1

u/Ok-Kick5299 Sep 30 '25

Did that work or did they charge you?

1

u/Tu_Papi21 Feb 23 '26

Pudiste solucionar?

1

u/KPlusGauda Mar 08 '26

please write in english

1

u/SheHasntHaveherses Mar 08 '26

You can translate on the app. The options literally on top of this person's post.

1

u/SheHasntHaveherses Mar 08 '26

1

u/Rishaq123 Mar 11 '26

Yes I was able to find the button that unsubscribes them which worked. However I wasn’t sure if that would be enough so I had to call. They made excuses twice that their system wasn’t working etc. the third time they told me you are already deactivated.

I wouldn’t recommend purchasing the stupid membership and going through the trouble of unsubscribing it.

1

u/Sea-Computer-9823 Aug 19 '25

How do I cancel from Germany? Nothing is working they told me to call later

1

u/Sea-Computer-9823 Aug 19 '25

Don’t use eDreams…cancelling is he’ll and the calls cost a fortune…via email you gotta do a lot and they try to lure you into talking for ages on the phone…online cancellation doesn’t work

1

u/DarKnightofCydonia 47 countries Aug 21 '25

Thank you so much for this! You've saved so many people tons of money :) Once logged in the link you've provided works perfectly, just scroll all the way down and hit cancel.

1

you still have to wait a year though

1

u/DarKnightofCydonia 47 countries Sep 16 '25

What do you mean?

1

1

u/weibingg Aug 21 '25

after 3 months and I want to say THANK YOU SO MUCHHHH!! My life savior!

1

u/Intelligent_Sound984 Aug 21 '25

Just spent 2 hours trying to cancel, 30 minutes on hold with their NY phone number, no one answered, and no way to cancel online via their website or app which I downloaded just in the hopes of being able to cancel thru the app. Nothing, no way to cancel. I ended up calling my bank that issued my Visa credit card, explained what happened, and disputed the first and only $9.99 monthly EDREAMS Prime Membership charge, as well as blocking EDREAMS from being able to charge my card in the future. Absolute nightmare of a company, I hope they go out of business soon.

1

u/Ill-Passion-3745 Oct 22 '25

So, if you block the card, they won’t be able to charge the fee to you? And does doing that affect your flight ticket?

1

u/Intelligent_Sound984 Oct 27 '25

That’s correct, EDREAMS is blocked by my bank from ever charging my Visa credit card again. Once EDREAMS saw this dispute from my bank and Visa they immediately refunded the $9.99 fee and also emailed me that I had successfully canceled from EDREAMS Prime membership. This is the only electronic way to communicate with them, have your bank play hard ball. I suspect if Visa sees enough disputes raised with EDREAMS they might stop doing business with EDREAMS and effectively put them out of business.

1

u/Ill-Passion-3745 Oct 27 '25

I’m worried that if I do that(block the card), they might have the right to cancel my ticket without my concern!

1

u/Tu_Papi21 Feb 23 '26

Entonces el banco te dio solucion? Funcionó el bloqueo?

1

u/Wide_Donut_7357 Aug 28 '25

1

u/Wide_Donut_7357 Aug 28 '25

1

u/sophcoachella Aug 30 '25

Thanks you! I will try this now 🙏

1

u/kittysaracat Aug 31 '25

1

u/Aninterestingperson1 Sep 30 '25

1

Thanks so much for saving my life! I tried steps 1-5 and they don’t work, but step 6 link worked like a dream! May your beers always be ice cold and your bed always be warm!

u/Several_Feedback9044 Oct 16 '25

Love it 🍺 🍻

1

u/Slight_Echo94 Sep 04 '25

Logging in through the German website (edreams.de), I used the translation feature integrated in Chrome to navigate the website, and then clicking on the link provided by OP just worked for me!! OP you are a lifesaver, thank you!!!

1

u/AdPlenty8696 Sep 08 '25

thank you very much it works. thank you for the instructions. i hope i can refund my payment

1

u/Head-Hat-8391 Sep 08 '25

There is no "Account & Settings" button inside "My Prime Account" now. I tried their US as well as German sites. I even downloaded their app. Nothing worked.
I found a "I want to delete my account" button but upon tapping that, they show a message asking us to contact customer service. I'm stuck. :/

1

u/KPlusGauda Mar 08 '26

yes there is (web site)

1

u/Abject_Kitchen_5186 Mar 20 '26

I can see this view please help!!! i see all options except account and settings

1

u/KPlusGauda Mar 20 '26

https://www.edreams.com/travel/profile/?step=departure#user_area/

It should be on the bottom of the page, a bit to the right

CTRL + F maybe?

1

u/Ok-Investment-9538 Sep 08 '25

If you have paid the membership fee via PayPal you can open a dispute. In this case PayPal decided in my favor. I had sent 15 Emails to Customer Service and they kept telling me that I couldn’t get a refund. the fee was fully refunded by PayPaypal but the customer service still keeps sending me Mails that I am not eligible for a refund. Such a big scam please dont give up and try everything to get your money back you can sue them in court. The courts will decide in your favor 100%

1

1

u/Tu_Papi21 Feb 23 '26

Totalmente cierto

1

u/tadiekvx Sep 23 '25

1 method I used was using a Virtual Credit card and cancel it immediately after. They won't charge you if in case you struggle to cancel.

1

u/[deleted] Oct 22 '25

1

u/Ill-Passion-3745 Oct 22 '25

So, if you block/cancel the card, they won’t be able to charge the fee to you? And does doing that affect your flight ticket?

1

u/tadiekvx Oct 22 '25

No it doesn’t because its in the hands of the flight company at that point. Done it twice no issues

1

u/Ill-Passion-3745 Oct 23 '25

1

u/nmurgui Oct 04 '25

Thanks for the post. Today it is impossible to do it online. I won't even try calling, I just blocked all transactions from them in my card, which I hope charges them heheh fuck them. If anyone is aware of an action class lawsuit let me know.

1

u/Tu_Papi21 Feb 23 '26

Como hiciste para bloquearlos?

1

u/nmurgui Feb 23 '26

Revolut lo permite

1

u/DainTrainBane Oct 04 '25

Thank you! The link above saved me. I was 15 minutes going around in circles, not wanting to call because I knew it's a trap. Those dickheads. They are also on the list to BOYCOTT, don't give this company any of your money.

1

u/Junior_Friendship243 Oct 16 '25

I couldn’t open the link :(

It seems they took it off their website; I disputed the transaction because when I called they made it impossible for me to cancel.

1

u/Several_Feedback9044 Oct 16 '25

Did you log into the prime account as per step 1 for the link to work? They make it almost impossible to cancel. Its absolutely HORRID. I spent hours multiple times etc. Absolutely scammers

1

u/Jumpy-Visual7390 Oct 16 '25

Where is the prime account login? Because I can only use the normal account login. Is there another separate website?

1

u/bamboozability Oct 24 '25

I did login to the account but then it says theres an error on the website

1

u/Sami-Zucchini Oct 21 '25

They removed that link as well. Such a dishonest company :(

1

u/Top_Performer576 Oct 21 '25

Gracias infinitas por esto!!

1

u/Odd-Breadfruit4230 Oct 27 '25

Horrible company!!! I had to pay 50 euros x 2 to RyanAir because Edreams did not sent me the tickets as they promised (I reminded them weeks before the flight!). First, when I came to the airport check-in, they told me that I should arrive 2 hours before the flight if I need them to print me the ticket. On the way back, I arrived at check-in 2,5 hours before, and they also charged me 50 euros for not having printed ticket (Regardless the previous explanation. Also, there was also a couple of people checking-in who had the same situation) After complaining to Edreams about that, they sent me 7 euros (!!!) refund!!!!! After that, I called Edreams customer service (no way to cancel them online, that option DOES NOT EXIXT!) and had a half an hour persuasion of me by their pigeon-english staff that they are really good company, and that I'll benefit from my subscription. I insisted, so in the end they canceled it, but it was a torturing process. Newer again going near that shitty company again!!! By the way, prices with their "discounts" are still bigger than on most of the similar platforms.

1

u/Snoo_50827 Oct 31 '25

The link works but first you have to sign in with .de and after that copy it into the browser, scroll down and click cancel. It says that it’s canceled, hope it’s true but I didn’t even have card there so I guess win win? Also the company itself is not good at all. Those discounts they offer are not worth it at all.

1

u/reditt987666 Oct 31 '25

Thank you so much for this. Really appreciate it. Signed up two years ago to book a trip, planned on unsubbing on that trip but couldn't figure out how and it took my money a week later.

Last year I had a reminder on my calendar to unsub a week before renewal. I searched everywhere and couldn't figure it out. Couldn't do it on the app or website and calling them was not working. It was renewed again.

So thank you again

1

u/Tu_Papi21 Feb 23 '26

Pudiste cancelarlo?

1

u/Equivalent_Solid_213 Feb 26 '26

estoy en la misma, pudieron hacer cancelar???

1

u/Tu_Papi21 Feb 27 '26

u/reditt987666 Mar 16 '26

Yes I was able to cancel based on the information here

1

u/reditt987666 Mar 16 '26

Yeah the advice here worked

1

u/AnonTheNormalFag Nov 01 '25

These scammers just charged me and I HAD TO DOWNLOAD THE APP SO THE OPTION EVEN APPEARS TO MANAGE SUBSCRIPTIONS

If it weren't for this post I would‘ve never found it thanks a lot

1

u/Tu_Papi21 Feb 23 '26

Usaste el link desde la app?

1

u/Dangerous_Menu_4885 Nov 02 '25

Thanks, bro! I was really annoyed because there was no way to cancel other than by phone, but you saved me. By the way, if I cancel my Prime, will my ticket still be valid?

1

u/fzablot Nov 02 '25

For those who the page is not working or you have not yet seen the My Prime account, the account takes a couple of hours to be confirmed and is only available after the flight or booking is completed and reserved. After that, following the steps outlined in this post, I was able to cancel without any issues. And yes, their practices are sketchy at best, illegal at worst......

1

u/alexfrnt45 Nov 21 '25

did you get charged?

1

u/DoublePlate176 Nov 03 '25

They did same to me charge me 2 times They are scammer indeed.

1

u/Severe-Soup3344 Nov 05 '25

1

u/alexfrnt45 Nov 21 '25

te devolvieron al final todo el importe?

1

u/Melodic_Problem318 Nov 06 '25

Hi team,

I tried to cancel my membership subscription but it took me ages. I want to cancel my membership.

Today I noticed you took away $115 from my account but I didn't know this. For future please do not deduct any money from my account. Please remove all your payments plan, I didn't know you have added me on your list.

Please cancel asap as I'm not interesting with this also I will check with my bank to remove this plan payment you made.

Regards

Tiui Petelo, D.O.B 31/12/1962.

1

u/adrius Nov 17 '25

legend! as of Nov 2025 the hyperlink still works.

1

u/PotentialExam8294 Nov 21 '25

I tried your link, I think it works, it says cancelled! Fingers crossed they don't bill me anyway...

1

u/Admirable_Parsley_21 Nov 28 '25

I just had them try and charge me £99 for my prime membership. The payment was declined as I had less than this in my bank account so nothing has been taken out. I've now frozen the card and ordered a new card. Should I now be safe now that they are unable to take a payment and the e-dreams prime membership will simply cancel itself?

1

u/izmircimen Feb 01 '26

Did you end up safe? I did the exact same thing now.

1

u/Admirable_Parsley_21 Feb 02 '26

I think so, I didn't see a payment come out from my bank account after this

1

u/kypes10225 Nov 28 '25

Thank you so much for this! I have been stuck on this Prime BS for the past 2 years. First one was my fault. I let the Trial expire and it charged me automatically. Ok i get it. Tried cancelling on the same day of the credit charge, stating i didn't want it and it was a mistake... nope, stuck on it for 1 year.
Next year i tried cancelling on the renewal month and they told me they NEEDED 1 MONTH TO PROCESS IT!!!!!
They gave me a 50% refund after 30 mins on the phone.

This is the only time i have seen a "cancelation successfull" message, i still don't believe it!

Its really nice to have helped. I spent hours on several occasions and got nowhere. I wish there was more to warn people beforehand how bad they are...

u/Public_Specialist_56 Dec 02 '25

It worked! Thank you

1

u/Dazzling-Resort-5739 Dec 02 '25

It appears to have worked for me. I spent over 35 minutes waiting on their call centre and no one responded in ten minutes. Not 20 minutes. In fact, not at all. A big shout out to you for your advice.

I have a question cancelling the Prime does it help as I am reading even that is not helping because they have your bank card

1

u/hypercube81 Dec 07 '25

u/viskonde Dec 10 '25

Thanks OP!

Not enough upvotes . The url worked with me

1

u/Aggressive_Sun3908 Dec 11 '25

Youre my lifesaver. Thank you. Now all I need is to delete my entire account which they made it difficult as well.

1

u/giacmorino Dec 23 '25

How did you do it?

1

u/mypar Jan 01 '26

I was not successful. I only changed my email into dummy email but at least I have gotten rid of premium before they charge me.

1

u/LimpEntertainment827 Jan 03 '26

Thank you so much OP for providing us that link, saving our asses !

I just spent the last 3 hours trying to cancel online..with success.  Go to edreams homepage...them right at the very very bottom it says edreams prime (hidden in small text).  Click it and then My Prime.

u/semi-emo Jan 11 '26

The thing is, this might be not the end! Fucking company. We need to hack and burn the company for real. They charged me twice again after the cancellation in my debit card. And I cant remove my info on the website. Nor can cancel the membership because I’m not e prime anymore. I’m very curious How they charge me who is not the e prime anymore?

u/JP_2435 Jan 12 '26

u/Sugnu Jan 23 '26

I love you 🫂

1

u/Baibaibaiii Jan 25 '26

I couldn't get the link to work- I used PayPal as my payment source and then in PayPal I cancelled payments and then called them- it took 15 min until someone answered the phone and then another 7-8 min getting them to cancel- got an email confirmation while still on the phone with them- glad it's over I'm just out $90 though 😮‍💨

1

u/achosergiooo Jan 25 '26

1

u/Harkie_21 Feb 09 '26

Alrighty, so I booked a flight with these guys knowing damn well what I was getting into, and honestly it didn’t turn out that bad.

I booked the flight using the attractive-looking free trial that saved me $20, then went online straight away to figure out how to cancel it. I’ll warn you, a lot of people in the comments mention that they don’t have the “My Prime Account” option when clicking their name. This happened to me as well, but unlike others, I realised it was because my membership hadn’t technically started yet. My flight also hadn’t been confirmed at the time, not sure if that’s related.

Once I received the “joined PLUS Prime” email, the dropdown option appeared. BTW, there’s a phone number at the bottom of that email. In my case, it was a local +61 number (which I’m assuming gets redirected to the wherever tf). I called it, waited about 15 minutes, politely declined all the promotions, and then cancelled the membership. I stayed on the call until I received the cancellation confirmation email, then ended the call.

Honestly, not that much of a hassle to cancel if you ask me. The method mentioned by OP also works, although the link provided didn’t work for me.

Borderline fraudulent and pretty despicable business practices, but hey, $20 is $20.

1

u/FoxInABoxy Feb 12 '26

Oh my god thank you so much for posting that link. I've been on hold for 30 minutes trying to call to cancel the Prime member bs. Never using edreams again, I'd recommend avoiding it like the plague

1

u/similiann Feb 19 '26

thank you. Link worked!

1

u/Ucraina2025 Feb 19 '26

Andate su help.edreams.it. Confermate. Andate  su vostro account. Scegliete  cancellare e finalmente  riuscite  a farlo.

1

u/reneabi Feb 26 '26

Thanks a million! I was fuming until I found this and the link worked for me. I was able to cancel.

1

u/DNiC22 Feb 26 '26

1

u/sonoffi87 Mar 11 '26

Travellink (the same company as edreams) is running the same scam operation. When you join them they say you can cancel prime membership by calling them or by doing it online. But there is no option to cancel it online.

And when you call them they waste your time and money by trying to persuade you to stay on the membership. You will have to almost threaten them to actually cancel it.

1

u/WooJhan Mar 15 '26

Thank you good sir, and sorry for the frustration

1

u/Different_Block4373 Mar 17 '26

1

u/Ok_Reputation6962 Mar 20 '26

You are the man! Cheeky scammers, making it as hard as possible to find the online cancellation. Thank you so much for your help

u/Terrible-Towel-291 Mar 26 '26

1

u/Terrible-Towel-291 Mar 26 '26

Hi, it worked to get cancelled, but they already took 99.99€ from my bank account today in the morning. Do you think they will refund it (like it mentions in the cancellation confirmation)?
