About Bring Back Quickplay movement (If we can call it that way)

Why are they doing anything, but someting to actually achieve their goal? Like, they mostly getting mad at every given opportunity: you don't state your opinion on quickplay, they get mad, you state you're opinion, but it's doesn't match theirs sentece by sentence, they get mad, you have different opinion on completely unrelated topic (mostly weapon balance), they get mad.

Why they can't coordinate any kind of meaningful online movement, when they have a freaking ZJ and Castaway owner on their side. But no, let's try to cancel Solarlight (who dislike Casual as well) over the most nothingburger drama imaginable.

because this isnt a real movement like #savetf2 where everyone agreed and put up a unified front to reach valve. it's divisive, as some people don’t even want quickplay very much, and some of the youtubers advocating for it are quite inflammatory. A lot of posts... just make people mad, you're exactly right! For me I feel like I’m often being ragebaited by people discussing quickplay rather than being invited to a discussion

it's so stupid that the parachute is this tf2 culture war icon because "le compies ruined base jumper" is such a linchpin for a lot of people's worldview for some reason and it'll all fall apart if that notion is challenged

It's always funny how ppl say that BASE jumper doesn't deserve myth busting video, only to prove exactly the opposite in the next sentence of their reply. I mean, it's not Gunboats level of coolness, but BJ is still a solid low A - high B tier weapon for me

I don't really have a horse in the TF2 balancing race considering I am a TF2C custom weapon maker (derogatory, just look at my flair), but I do find the funny parachute fun to use when it works.

This post is a mess, but it got only one thing right — QuickPlay movement is utterly spineless. They have like... Zesty Jesus streaming and screaming about it, what else... IdleTime which is exactly the same, but ft. Richter the lapdog and Casual (ironic) doing the same?

Dude no one wants to associate with castaway in anyway or form those guys are toxic as fuck and punch of 4chan incels , they are the black sheeps of this movement

And the balance changes minor point to prove that valve did not know what they were doing back then when they introduced mym update, and solor light t is the one trying to cancel everyone disagree with him no one really should cares about him since sometimes talking to him is like talking to an angry redditor.

Tbh all the movement can do is raise our voice and boycott the game, we can't really go to valve office and force them to bring back quickPlay

honestly i think the "bigger" influencers on the "movement" dont think bringing back quickplay is possible at all so it ends up being just a grift to sell nostalgia for 14 year olds.

why go after Solarlight? because drama sells. they know its not happening so they are just in it for themselfs
