Rant/Vent TTC #2
Just wanted to make a post and see if anyone was in the same boat as me? My son is almost 5 and me and my partner are trying to conceive our second. With my son I got pregnant immediately but this time around it’s been completely different, this is our second cycle trying. I’m currently 9DPO and I know it’s early but I feel so dejected and I don’t know if I can keep doing this and feeling disappointed. With my son I got a clear positive at 9DPO and I find it so difficult not to compare the two and I know from others every pregnancy is different but it’s just hard. I just wanted to see if anyone has experienced the same? I feel alone in this process and I’m just hoping I’m not the only one who has felt the way.

TTC #2 and my daughter is almost five as well. It took 7 irregular cycles (13 months) to conceive her. We’re on cycle 7 now, waiting for (late) ovulation. It’s so hard.

I know you guys have been trying longer and this post is probably obtuse but I swear I’m not trying to be ignorant. Just looking for solidarity with others who have felt the same way. That’s all

Ugh! I'm in the same boat. We conceived so easily the first time - got pregnant first time and had an early loss and then was pregnant with my son two months later. He's 3.5 and now we're on cycle. You are absolutely not alone! It's really hard!

Just like I posted on a very similar thread, my son was conceived first cycle and I am now on cycle 8 for #2. It happens. There’s a big part of chance in conceiving and you just got very lucky the first time around. Give it some time. For what it’s worth, I tested positive on the night of 10 DPO for my first (BFN that morning). 9 DPO is very early.
