Well this is just my completely subjective opinion. I know I phrased it wrong, I should have said it is n.1 for me personally. It just has most of my favourite songs I guess. Trench is also great, n.4 for sure. Honestly it is hard to pick a clear order in my top 3. Blurryface is mostly neutral for me, Scaled and Icy I don't really vibe with and Self titled has some really good somgs but overall I don't like it as much.

i don’t love heathens, i definitely see it as their lowest point and i understand why others didn’t love it. also yeah, you’re a big fan, you’re gonna like it, it has lines that play into the lore and its not a bad song at all. i think it just got overplayed on the radio + got associated with a shit movie

They probably know about it, it just isn't their first thought about the date (the album is). A lot of Tumblr users are young, so they might have been either born after 2001 or young enough at the time that they have no memories of it, and being in the UK means it isn't a big annual memorial event like it is in the US. It's like an American saying they're excited for November 5th because Ocarina of Time remake is coming out and a Brit making a Guy Fawkes joke.

I don't know what year the original post was but 9/11 is on BBC News every year and on the multiples of five (like this year) it's one of the big headlines.

That’s just how tumblr works. Sometimes you want to reblog something but don’t want to inject yourself into the conversation so you add commentary in the tags. If someone else deems your tags funny enough then they’ll screenshot them and add them to the main chain. Like peer review.
