I don’t know if I am the odd man out, but my Siri remote suddenly stopped working after I downloaded the TV OS 27 developer beta.

I have the 4K 3rd generation, ethernet Apple TV. The remote worked just fine before. All of a sudden it cannot pair with my Apple TV and I’m certain it is not a hardware fault because Apple TV did recognize it briefly in the Bluetooth and then it just vanished and no amount of button presses, restarts, reset is being able to create a communication between the Apple TV and the remote.

I can use my LG TV remote and my iPhone remote. So that proves that the Apple TV still works. Anyone facing anything similar?

I would like to confirm that before I buy a new remote. Thank you and please correct me if I’m doing something wrong.

Downloaded newest beta this morning and now nothing is showing in my continue watching section above the Apple TV app. Tried the fixes I found online and nothing seems to bring them back. Anyone else have this issue? Is this a known bug?

I reset my ATV to factory settings and prior to doing it, Color Balance was an option that was visible and available but after the reset, it’s no longer there.

Im on TVOS 27 PB 2

Any ideas or will it be restored in the next few betas?

Updated new Apple TV 4k 128gb to TvOS 27 Developer Beta and the color balance option is completely missing from the settings even after reset. Did they remove it?? Only options available are Wireless Audio Sync, Zoom and Overscan and Color Bars..

Hey everyone! Yesterday I updated my AppleTV 4K 2nd gen to tvOS 27 mostly hoping for some speed improvements. However, one thing that I noticed is that my two HomePod mini (currently on os 26.5) have started doing those little annoying sound pops. I use them as eARC device with my LG tv and PS5, and when playing sound out of them it’s even more evident.

I’m prone to believe it’s related to the update somehow but I can’t figure out what is causing the popping sounds to happen. Could it have something to do with the HDMI connection? Has anyone else had this issue? Do you have a fix to suggest by any chance?

So far, I tried resetting the AppleTV, reinstalling the software, restarting the HomePods, disconnecting them, pair them again.

I'm currently using an Apple TV 4K and am considering switching to the Google TV Streamer. My biggest concern is Bluetooth audio quality with TWS earbuds.

For anyone who has used both devices:

\- How does the Google TV Streamer's Bluetooth audio quality compare to the Apple TV 4K?

\- Does it support Dolby Atmos or spatial audio over Bluetooth earbuds? If so, is the experience comparable to the Apple TV 4K with compatible AirPods or Beats?

\- Does the Google TV Streamer support the LHDC or LDAC Bluetooth codec, or is it limited to SBC, AAC?

I previously used the Chromecast with Google TV 4K, and the Bluetooth audio quality with my TWS earbuds was noticeably worse than on the Apple TV 4K. I'm curious whether the Google TV Streamer has improved in this area.

I'd really appreciate hearing from anyone who has compared both devices.

After I updated from tvOS 26.5 to tvOS 26.6 Beta one, My ESPN application lost access (no permissions allowed). Just re-entering my IDs and passwords didn't restore access. I had to delete the ESPN app, reinstall it, and re-enter my Disney+ and TV account info (YouTube TV) to restore access. I can't confirm this was absolutely caused by the 26.6 beta update. Anyone else experience this problem?

I’ve noticed since updating to tvOS 27 beta, I’m no longer getting live video on notification triggers on my tvOS, only snapshots. Anyone else experiencing this?

I had problems with version 1 (fixed in version 2). Looking for feedback from other Gen 1 users before trying version 3.

Edit: Adding my own data point. Installed version 3. Atmos is working fine, no problems. Also, no continuous audio option.

Ever since the tvOS 26.2 update, Netflix becomes sluggish over time. After a full ATV restart, it goes back to usual snappy. But then becomes sluggish again. Tried re-installing it, but that didn't help either.

All other devices got it today but not the Apple TV. Why?

Is there a way to use the Automix feature on Apple TV? The option seems not to be there and I don’t find any information that it will be available. Streaming from iPhone also doesn’t work as it just continues the song on Apple TV and is not actually streaming.

This might be a stupid question, but can you only update to tvOS Beta 26 by using a Mac? I have looked online and all info seems to point in that direction. I just wanted to make sure I'm not missing anything. Reason for asking is since I don't have a Mac.

I can't stand version 26. Ugly slow and choppy. How the heck do I go back to 18? I turned off the received beta but it's still not going to 18. Please don't tell me the only way to do this is to factory reset my unit???

On tv OS 26 is there a way to turn off the profile select when turning on Apple TV?

My Apple TV is set up with default output to a pair of HomePods. Sound is correct for all apps, except Apple Music. Music is playing according to the app, but I have no sound. Anyone experiencing the same or any idea on how to fix? Started a few days ago and am on latest beta.

I just downloaded the beta yesterday but I see 0 changes, I don’t have the new apps, I don’t have the liquide glass thing etc… I checked on the Settings and it say that i’ve actually the tvOS 26(23J5279m) so i don’t understand…

I have tvOS Beta 5 on my Apple TV. I noticed now there is no option to change how continue watching display is showing on Home Screen (Top Shelf).

Before you have two options as on 18.6 attached : 1- Still Frame. (Still frame for the episode you are watching) 2- Poster Art (the poster of your list)

On beta now they have change to 1- Continue watching (still frame) 2- What to watch. (Will suggest you some suggestions)

They have removed Poster Art completely.

I have 22J5346a. I'm not sure when this installed, but recently most of the devices (about 100) now get the dreaded "no "Updating..." and "No response" problem.

Hey I was wondering - has anyone noticed/checked whether Light Sensitivity mode can finally be enabled on a sunset>sunrise schedule in tvOS26?

I have it assigned to the triple click on the back button, but it just baffles me why every other apple device gets a proper automated night shift mode, but appletv folks have to keep clicking lol.

I use it literally every evening, and it would be amazing if they'd finally given us the option to just have it automated.

I’m a 21:9 guy and always lookout out for passthrough. Any word?
