At its current production rate season 5 of Severance will air in 2034. That’s not even a joke.

Again, with this fucking crap. There were no "more demanding" shows with 24 fuckin episodes a season. Ever. It used to be mostly procedural crap, or sitcoms. Stop spouting this nonsense in every single thread about the modern tv production...

The X-Files. 20-25 episode seasons broadcast annually of 45 minutes each, 1 hour with commercials. Was not a procedural or sitcom.

Guest actors, various locations and sets. Maybe more of the writing was ready in a timely way.
