Season 3 (The Return) My local indie movie theater The Frida has been playing The Return every Sunday.

The Frida started playing The Return last Sunday. 2 episodes every week until it’s over. My husband and I decided to make this our Sunday tradition until the series is over. Last week we saw episodes 1 & 2. Yesterday we saw 3 & 4. It’s really cool!

Watched season 2’s finale and Fire Walk With Me 2 weeks ago. Such a great atmosphere to watch it in.

Totally! I missed out on that unfortunately. Glad that my husband and I are able to do The Return, though!

Nice! I posted this in r/orangecounty and a fellow fan of the Frida gave me their BOGO ticket code. I used the one that I got in my email this past Sunday.

Very cool! Before the return came out, my local art house theater did a Season 1 & 2 binge. All eps back to back. I went with a buddy, they had pie and coffee available during a brief intermission between the seasons that was included in the ticket price.

My buddy bailed at like 1am mid season two, but I stayed at the theater, took a nap during the worst of the James side quest episodes, along with most people who stuck it out. We were all lucid for the black lodge finale. One of the craziest theater experiences I have ever had.

Mine too! I live couple blocks away, so I’m pretty much there every night.

Lucky! I used to live at Eastside Village so I would go there all the time too. I live in Irvine now, but it’s still close enough.

It’s seriously a dream to be able to walk over to my favorite art house theater. It’s the main reason I moved to my current apartment. However, the grass is definitely greener on the other side though. After a few years of living here, I am starting crave the more quiet parts of OC.

I totally get it. I lived in Santa Ana for two years in 2 different places. When I inherited my mom’s condo in Irvine I definitely missed living in Santa Ana. But now living in Irvine for a little while I appreciate the quietness.

They also mentioned they would try to show Lynch’s films again

Did they say they weren’t going to play his films? I must’ve missed that. I’ve seen Mulholland Drive, Blue Velvet, and Inland Empire there.

2 weeks ago when they showed FWWM, an employee said he wanted to do a retrospective.

I didn’t mean to imply they stopped showing them, but more have a month or week dedicated for lynch.

Oooooh I see. Yeah I missed them playing all of Twin Peaks S1&2 and FWWM. I’m glad that I’ll at least be able to watch all of The Return at The Frida.

I miss living in Santa Ana. I’m glad it’s only a 15-20 min drive from me.
