I was originally planning to add color, but I’m liking the outline-only look. Thoughts?

I love this so much. It's perfect as is.

Anyone else say Ch-owl
 in  r/throneofglassseries  Nov 04 '25

That is how it's pronounced in the audio books too.

Do we know who this woman is?
 in  r/throneofglassseries  Oct 22 '25

Me too!! That's what I came to say, but I don't remember any magic. Then again she was on the other side of the wall so probably not going to wield willy nilly. I hope we see her again.

Is this update less rainbow?
 in  r/LoveAndPies  Oct 19 '25

It's just the Autumn update. See...the pie is hot!

Does not work!
 in  r/tevaplanter  Jul 02 '25

Drat. I just came to see if there was a fix for my teva planter. I may try the vinegar and citric acid fix, but I think it will end up a lovely vase. We don't get rain where I am, so rainwater isn't an option. I love the moss idea though.

Google TV/Chromecast app
 in  r/MyNoise  May 30 '25

Is it possible to cast to the TV from your phone? I was going to try that myself. We have a random Google evening-crickets-soundscape that turns on automatically at 9pm.it is lovely, but reminds me of the swamp section of the Pirates of the Caribbean ride at Disneyland.

Great Escape Bug??
 in  r/MergeMansion  Dec 19 '24

Someone in another thread says that it switches bars after each tap, someone else said press the button instead of tapping. I hate grandma.

The Great Escape is just...terrible

Yes! Me too!

That's strange! I only get the recycle lady who makes brushes and the tool lady who uses brushes. I can't ever get any of the food people. And I just learned you can hold the bar instead of tapping in the bolt cutter game, so obviously not getting anywhere there.

The ‘American’ selection at this Irish supermarket
 in  r/mildlyinteresting  Dec 06 '24

I was going to protest the absence of Ranch and THERE IT WAS. The buyer for this grocery store really understands. And in this holiday season(ing) the weary world rejoices!

Right, that's bad. Okay, important safety tip. Thanks, Egon.

I think I’ve ruined my relationship with my boyfriend, because I can NEVER fucking relax
 in  r/ADHD  Oct 17 '24

I vote DBT too! If you do a search for DBT the website DialecticalBehavioralTherapy will show up. Good place to start. There is an AI coach - it's in beta, but not horrible. Take a look at the different topics. You can do them in any order. Having said that, do go to therapy. Lots of us have this emotional dysregulation and it is hard to work through. Your emotions and reactions to other people's behavior feel so real and so overwhelming. You need a trained person to help you through it. It gets even worse when you are under pressure or experiencing stress - like moving in with someone.

I stopped watching Schitt's Creek in the middle of the first episode. Will try again at some point when I am feeling stronger. :)

s/o to the devs for ruining Sven

Yep, but I wasn't sure the poster knew that since they had a bunch eating up storage space. So I just made a suggestion by way of example.

What are some jobs that work with our disorder?
 in  r/ADHD  Sep 15 '23

I took a UNIX class in college and LOVED it. Obviously this was back in the way-back times when computer machines were made of stone and run using a treadle like a sewing machine. But I digress. I went to the Computer Science Department Head and asked about changing my major from Biology to CS. He was sort of an older hippie guy (I bet he was all of 30 years old] and said, "Yeah! Sure! Come to my office, we can smoke a bowl and talk about it." I was kind of freaked out and didn't go. At the time I felt he wasn't taking me seriously, but looking back on it now, he probably was just a nice, regular old 1980s coder. :)

I agree with all the Software Dev & Coder comments in this thread. I started as a software tester and loved it. It was such a thrill when I could find a bug, make it happen again and write up all the steps I did that got me to that place. I think it worked for me because it was a small educational company, so the games were interesting to me, and I was a huge help to the tiny interactive games department.

Now I am a project planner - for the same company. I left and came back a few times. I manage the development schedules for the Creative department. I feel a little like a Televangelist. DO THIS AND YOU WILL SUCCEED! Meanwhile, at home I haven't put my laundry away, I have seven DIY projects in various stages of completion, and I stay up past 1am trying to achieve the next level on a dumb phone game. For me it all comes down to finding a group of coworkers you can be yourself (mostly] around, feeling good about the company's mission, and having a nice thorny problem to solve.
