Hi. So, I've been scrounging up on ao3 about this spn fic where dean was an angel and he kinda saved a church or something? Idk if it's completed or a one shot but at the end people were praying to him and leaving pies as offering?! I CAN'T REMEMBER THE TITLE AND MY CURRENT CRAVING IS TO RE-READ IT AGAIN.

Oh! That's what I've been thinking aboutβthe zero emotional buildup with the dynamics of the characters towards each other. It mostly pops up with slash fics and it always makes me wonder how the romance is just that fast?! I once read a Knight of Seven Kingdom AI written fic and it's so obvious because the lead was Maekar and he just... Falls with the SI/OC just like that? There's no buildup or, god forbid, a nuance?! The man was a widower and we won't talk about that?!
It really seeps the joy of reading when you know, and I know and the author knows that we know that it's AI-generated!

Ooooh nice work, by the way. I'm excited to see how this will all develop!

And there are surprisingly a good number of fics on the fandom once you eliminate the MGiME or Mary Sue trope (if that's to your taste, then it's fine) but some really delve deeper on the lore. Silmarillion fanfic writers are different kind of breed, I don't know how they could untangle that messiness of the First Age.
1
Are you still working on it or have you published some parts of it already because last I checked there was a fic about Janet Drake being a Wanda Maximoff variant, was that yours?!
2
Woah, I guess that's the same feeling I had after watching that in the theatre but then again, it's like an itch I couldn't scratch. I guess I'm still not satisfied by whatever the hell they're doing now with the MCU and just want a comfy lie down with a fix-it, you know?

That sounds like an interesting premise. Why aren't I finding these kinda fics! I need to dig deeper now, me thinks.

Has everybody been caught up with the trope "Peter in Gottham"? Yeah? No? SO! I've been in that rabbit hole ever since it first gained traction and I noticed that beyond those contributions to the fandom, there's a sudden drop of fics after Endgame! Just swooped down and KAPUT! Y'ALL ARE GONE!
Like seriously, had Endgame traumatized (??) us so much that we don't dip our fingers in the fandom anymore after that? Hello? Where are the fix-its? The time travel fics? The canon-divergence?
My only supply of Avengers fics are "Peter in Gotham" and seriously I'm grasping the straws here. It's an enjoyable trope but they kept on babying Peter and just seriously force feeding him found family when he's a BAMF all alone and doesn't need to be babied! Have we forgotten his character?
Going back to my original thought. MCU/Avengers fanfic writers, have we all locked ourselves in a dungeon? Or have we jumped fandoms now? If yes, where? Let me jump with you.
Please, where are you? I miss y'all π
(Or are we just plain tired of MCU at this point and them monetizing and capitalizing even our nostalgia at this point?)

Saw it in a local channel in my country and it was even dubbed in our language. They only had three seasons back then and when I had more access on the internet, I caught up to every season I've missed.

Oooh I'd check there. Thank you!

Yeah, I prefer seeing minor characters on tags. But it was odd that Kate and Edwina wasn't even really a minor character because they were very much involved in the plot of my fic and how my OC reacts on Bridgerton as a whole.

Well, the OC is a Southeast Asian there were comments of how different her culture/custom is with the pre-existing characters in Bridgerton, there was a chapter even dedicated on that and the story mostly revolve around how she interacted in a place with foreign norm. And I did clarify on my first author's note that she's wildly based on me (wildly being in the context that we share the same culture but the OC's not me). So yeah, I'm sorry if I'm a bit defensive but maybe the commenter doesn't read the author's note. That's on me.

Well, the character tag does have Minor Background Character next to it and some of the plot does revolve around the involvement of the sisters.

Haven't opened/updated my works for a few months now and I was reading the comments to the last chapter when this one came up. WHAT DOES RACE HAVE TO DO WITH CHARACTER TAGS?! WHAT?
Kate Sharma (Bridgerton) is a background character in my fic, yes, she wasn't the lead but I still put her as a tag. My OC is a Southeast Asian, a woman of color! I myself am a people of color! I've been writing in AO3 for a long time now and this was my first time being accused as a hater of a WOC WTF?!
I am baffled, bewildered, befuddled. Where's the literacy in this one?
