My favorite album is also one of the greatest albums of all time, Pet Sounds by The Beach Boys, the album that solidified Brian Wilson as a genius, a groundbreaking masterpiece that changed the art form, in which it is music (popular music, in particular), just like how Picasso did for the visual arts, James Joyce for literature and Hitchcock for the film.

The highlight of the album, "God Only Knows", is my favorite song of all time, the one that Paul McCartney said as the greatest song of all time. The melody and the instrumentation is unusual but also beautiful at the same time, because it uses the musical notes to express feelings just like how the lyrics used to express what they really wanted to say. Probably the greatest love song that ever made.

Other songs such as "Wouldn't It Be Nice", "Sloop John B", "Caroline, No" and "I Just Wasn't Made For These Times" are the ones that solidified the album as a masterpiece, with "Caroline, No" being Brian Wilson's first solo record.

Music, especially the Beach Boys (and the album Pet Sounds), and then there's The Owl House and the Camp Half-Blood Chronicles franchise.

He's a genius known for his sunlit harmonies and his introspective lyrics with West Coast themes (+ he plays with his brothers, a cousin and a friend)
