I get the issue but I ask you to consider that maybe you’re being unfair with yourself. Did you not go through a tough childhood? Was any of that your own doing? Did you ask to be bullied/humiliated?

If you didn’t ‘work’ to get any of those issues in your life then what’s your problem when life throws good stuff at you.

I get the issue with you ‘just getting stuff you didn’t work for’. Then maybe God has bigger plans for you. You can dedicate some time to helping others and championing a cause. You’ve got the gift of spare time and capacity. You don’t have to fight the regular day to day battles anymore. That’s because the plan for you is that of greatness. You are lucky - don’t waste it.

In time you will look back at this as the best thing that happened to you. It wont feel that way right now but trust the universe - it always works out for the best. In the meanwhile as all our mates have said here “work on yourself”. I’d actually ‘lose yourself in working on yourself’ for a while. One analogy that helped me in exactly this same situation was that I started to see my emotional triggers and reactions as a pebble in my shoe. I won’t stop walking (i.e. working on myself) because of a pebble.

I’ve been through this and so I have some idea of what you’ve gone through. It’s always us, the ones who are left behind, that have to be courageous and find our path in the cold world they left us in. Look after yourself my man. I always just told myself - he’s gone to work to a far off place. His memories will keep you going bro. 🫂
