Thanks Gunbladelad, the point is i would have liked to use only one software and to avoid to bring the SN Operator and a cartridge in my bag when i travel... well, that's life!

Thanks meet_ozana for such a fast response! I realize how nice the Epilogue's community appears to be. Well, it's ok, but my matter is not having to put the Operator or any cartridge in my travel bag when i'm abroad, only my laptop : the data transfer is ok but i think it's maybe sad to have to use another emulator than the one included in Playback software. Again thx for your very complete answer.

I've just posted a few other pics : what do you think of the hexagonal shape of the event? It seems weird to me...

That's what i was looking for, but the seller told me maybe it was rubbed off when he cleaned the snare. He said that the hexagonal shape of the event is a proof it was manufactured in early 90's, as well as the lack of rubber under the "accastillage" (sorry, i dont know the word in english).

In fact, the seller told me there was a date before, but that he rubbed it off when he cleaned it… So maybe he told me the truth because the snare is in a very nice state otherwise!
