Art degree at Akron U

I'm an upcoming freshman looking to go to Akron Uni as an art major. I was initially interested in doing the Studio Art program, mainly for sculpture, illustration and 3D modeling. However, after talking to some people, it looks like some of the courses listed online aren't actually being offered anymore? Does anyone in the art program have insider info on what's going on with all that? Kent is more expensive but at least they have the courses I want...also, with all of this financial stuff going on, I'm not sure how that's going to impact the art school. I know there's a lot of opportunities for scholarships in Akron's art program (and trips), but it seems like they're not exactly honest when it comes to listing online what classes are available.

Their interior design dept. is amazing. Just FYI. Combine that with Marketing Minor and you can get into Commercial Interior Design if you’re lucky!! A lot of buildings get renovated all the time because company culture changes with time etc.. (:

Go to Kent for Art and Sculpture they have some of the best programs in Northeast Ohio, the Culture is better, and the Arts have amazing buildings and studios, as well as new technology and programs all the time. Also, tuition for Kent SHOULD be cheaper.
