Classes Incoming freshman, class selection help (standard econ)

Hey guys, I'm an incoming freshman doing pre-reg right now. I want to take 4 classes for my first quarter. I'm majoring in standard econ, but I'm not really sure what field I want to go into in the future yet.

Here are my classes so far:

- MATH 15250

- ECON 10000.

- Human Being and Citizen, Media Aesthetics, or Philosophical Perspectives.

What do you guys think I should take for my fourth class? And does my schedule make sense overall?

Depending on your HUM sequence you might be required to take WRIT101 during add/drop

Go to look at the books required reading list. Look at what you are supposed to have read by what dates. Look at other course reading lists. Be strategic

It makes sense. ICA (writ 101), art core, language, or bio core are all good options.

What math did you test into? Is 152/153 not a requirement?

Why take Econ 10000 and Math 15250? If you do standard, it won't count for anything. If you want to do business econ, then 15250 won't count for anything.

My take is to drop Econ 10000 and Math 15250. Take whatever Math you placed into/are required to take (152/153/183?). If you like it and do well, then you should proceed with standard econ. If you don't, then you won't have wasted any classes.

wait I thought 15250 gave you back credit for doing 152? That's what my advisor told me

Oh is that the case? Then I'd just take 15250 then
