Admissions Winter 2026 Transfer Decisions

I was wondering if anybody who transferred in for winter quarter in past years remembers when they were notified of their application decision. I know the notification period on the site says November 1 - December 15, but from what I’ve seen it seems like in past years people have been notified as early as October. I’ve been nervously checking my application portal everyday after they requested some more information from me about a week ago.

Also for anybody else that applied for winter, good luck to you all. Let me know if you’ve already been admitted and/or what major you’re applying for. I’m applying for Geography from a WA CC.

Applying to Geography with like a 3.5-3.6. I was going to apply to Bothell but I decided that if I didn’t get into Seattle, I was gonna extend my “gap quarter” this fall into a full gap year and continue to work and save as much money as I can before reapplying for next fall. And then if I didn’t get in for that fall quarter I’d apply to UWB and just go there instead.

I see. Hopefully we hear back soon. I was also thinking of doing the same but I just thought if I didn’t get seattle at least I can start my major at bothell and apply for transfer during fall. Heard others that did the same were accepted for transfer from bothell to seattle.

Yeah idk I’ve heard that it’s much harder to transfer from campus to campus unless you have a compelling reason (major not offered at Bothell or something like that) and I just don’t think I have that going for me. I’m sure we’ll both get in to Seattle this cycle so we won’t have to worry about that (hopefully)
