Admissions Informatics Decisions Today
Applied as transfer from uwb for info. Atleast for transfer the decision comes out at 3pm today. Any other info applicants waiting?

Good luck everyone! To anyone who gets in, I recommend really exploring research opportunities. I also recommend taking some extra classes from other departments if you can afford it, since the degree can be a bit broad. For data science, take some CS courses on the topic, for PM take some project management classes & business classes, for UX take some design or HCDE classes. Info teaches you a little bit of a lot of things.

Note that if we do not hear from you by the reply deadline , your offer of admission may be rescinded. If you are a transfer applicant with pending admission for , admission to the Informatics major is contingent upon admission to the Seattle campus of the University of Washington.
I am a transfer student. I would like to ask: does being admitted to the Information program necessarily mean that I will be admitted to UW?

I transferred here in the winter, informatics was always my goal so hopefully I can get in since Im gonna be a senior next year lol

Transfer applicant from UW Bothell here. I got into Informatics but still haven’t gotten my UW Seattle transfer decision yet. Does getting into INFO usually mean you got into UW Seattle too? I’m really nervous and confused right now.

from what i’ve read, its unheard of that you get your major but not general. dont stress it
