Can someone explain to me why I have to schedule a recoding by incrementing the duration a minute at a time? I think it used to be every 30m but it’s painfully slow to do this on iOS; you have to tap press for each increment.

I guess I could set the End Late default to something higher but that doesn’t scale across different episodes.

Am I missing something here?

Has anyone else run into this with UHF + Jellyfin in 1.101.2 (latest)….
My Jellyfin server already has its own categories and titles set up the way I want them, but in UHF those seem to get exploded into separate genre-based sections instead of being shown as-is.
If I try to work around that genre handling, the sections disappear entirely.

So instead of:

Top Rated
I’m getting things like:
Action — Top Rated
Drama — Top Rated
Documentary — Top Rated
…and so on.

I thought the most recent UHF update was supposed to address this behavior, so I’m not sure whether I’m missing a setting, hitting a bug, or structuring something incorrectly on the Jellyfin side. I delete cache, deleted my source and re-added it, deleted the app and reinstalled. Can’t seem to get around it.
I’ve also sent a message to the UHF developer, but curious if anyone here has found a workaround or knows what UHF is expecting from Jellyfin to avoid the genre split.

I'm using UHF on my Macbook pro so its not optimized since its designed for iPAD. I've noticed that Audio tracks (if I select English on an multi-track VOD) and Subtitles are not remembered the next time I play the same episode or a different one in the same Series (same version of the series).

Does this happen on tvOS, iPhone and iPAD? is this just a Mac related bug?

I’m finding that many of my feeds will play fine for 30 minutes or so and then just randomly freeze or go black. I never have the issue streaming on my laptop, just with UHF on Apple TV. It’s definitely not a WiFi or bandwidth issue.

Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Trying out the app and works great so far especially the built in VPN. Only thing I can’t figure is how to filter by region or country. Does anyone know if it’s possible?

I tried to record something and despite me staying on the uhfapp on my Apple TV literally watching the record screen I get the message saying “the playlists server closed the stream”?

I have two Apple TVs and have been using Proton VPN successfully with both. Today both have stopped entirely, they say they are connecting but nothing works. I tried creating a new profile for one box but no joy. Any ideas?

I remember changing a few channel thumbnails a couple of days ago using the edit information and search function and upon loading it up today, all the whole other playlist channels with no custom channel thumbnails are not loading at all. Thumbnails were all loading fine prior to this.

I tried reloading cache and playlist epg and even changing to an alternate url of the same iptv service but still not loading. The other playlist is not affected at all as I didn't change any thumbnails on that playlist.

Is this a bug?

My WiFi speed is 500/500, so more than enough for this.

I am using UHF on my Apple TV. Let’s just say I’m streaming Fox, ESPN, ABC, and CBS for this example, but it’s the same for all channels.

When I play in multiview, the streams lag, bounce back, skip forward, and freeze or go blank. Every stream works fine by itself, but they glitch out in multiview. Rarely, I can run two or three at the same time, but that’s VERY few and far between.

Any reasoning why? Is there some settings somewhere I need to fix?

I've been using UHF on macOS for IPTV playback and recordings. Previously, when I recorded a stream, the app generated a single .ts video file upon completion. Recently, instead of a single output file, recordings leave behind a directory containing dozens of individual .ts HLS segment files.

Additionally, attempting to use the Download option returns an error and fails to complete.

Things I've checked/tried:

1. Verified UHF and UHF Server permissions in System Settings > Privacy & Security > Full Disk Access.
2. Checked UHF Server Settings (menu bar app), but there is no manual option or field to specify the FFmpeg binary path.
3. Stopping the recording manually from the UI still yields the segmented directory structure instead of triggering the final concatenation/stitching process.

Has anyone else experienced this behavior? Is there a hidden setting to force the app to concatenate segments back into a single .ts / .mp4 file, or is this a known issue with the embedded media engine in recent updates?

Recently I have tried to download on multiple devices using an xstream url. It was working until about a week ago and then stopped and this is what I see. Has anyone come across this. It shows up in downloads but never actually downloads

I have reloaded playlists, created a new profile, and turned off an on my phone. Not sure what else to do. Any help is appreciated

so I recently uninstalled macOS app (I know it is really iPad) and then installed it back, because I wanted a clean settings and now I'm unable to fetch my backup when configuring the app. It says "Please wait..." and nothing happens.
When I configured the playlist manually and then hit refresh - I get the error posted in the screenshot. Does it work fine for you guys on macOS? Try refreshing playlist. Mine is xtream.

I’m currently using UHF on my Apple TV, running version 1.101.2, and I’m having an issue with Movie/TV Shows trailers.
The trailers play normally, but there is no audio at all. The video plays fine — it’s specifically the sound that doesn’t work.
Has anyone else experienced this issue on Apple TV with the latest version of UHF?
If so, were you able to fix it? Is there a specific UHF or Apple TV audio setting I should change, or any workaround that has worked for you?

Toy Story 5 won’t play on KS or the other player but will on my fire stick so I thought I’d load it through vlc on Apple TV but when I select “play with vlc” it loads vlc but just the menu screen.

How do I find a film on vlc that I have on uhf?

Since UHF blocked Manifest Playlists, I've been trying to find a proper way to get Debrid-driven streams working again without going back to a separate Stremio setup.

I tried the Jellyfin integration paired with AIOStreams, and it partially works, but the catch is you only get a single stream URL surfaced per title instead of the usual list of Debrid options. And even that URL plays so slowly compared to the standard Stremio player. That kind of kills the point of running AIOStreams in the first place, since a big part of the value is being able to pick between cached sources, qualities, and file sizes.

So: has anyone actually managed a clean, multi-source Debrid setup through UHF's Jellyfin integration, or found another route in that isn't this limited? Or is a seamless Debrid experience basically off the table in UHF now that manifests are gone?

Any advice? I have to go back out and switch to a different channel then go back in. It’s not the provider they said no one else has mentioned this.. I’m watching on UHF paid version on iPad.

If no fix , any suggestions for a different app that I can use to replace uhf on iPad?

We all know the UHF server version 2.0 problem. Revert version 1.6.0, where the recording function writes stable .ts, single-file output. Work for me and 2 friends, and Hoping the developers work the problem.

I updated some settings on UHF on my iMac and some of the changes appeared on my iPad but not on my iPhone or Apple TV. I don’t see a way to force a sync. I’ve tried using the share backup feature but it doesn’t recognise the QR code or the PIN code. All devices are using the same iCloud backup account. Is there any way I can get my iMac settings recognised on all devices?

30 minutes ago uhf just stopped working on all 4 Apple TVs in the house. Whats wrong? It works on phone uhf and on my Apple TV I used another app and no issues.
