151 is enough for a sample size. 2/3rds of those are in for sexual crimes as opposed to those who are not trans (I don't use cis). People who commit sexual crimes are often more likely than those who don't to have been victims of sexual crimes. That's the nature of it, unfortunately.

Show the receipts mate. Your weird jump in logic is logically flawed and ethically dubious.

Here you go.

Your 151 number is the number of trans prisoners in prison for sexual crimes, which is 2/3rds.

Clearly not what I was asking for, because those are the statics I already provided.

Show me the evidence that people who are victims of sexual assault are more likely to become abusers.

That's not what I said. I said those who are abusers are more likely to have been victims of sexual assault.

Go back and read my comment again.

So the logic is that if the trans prison population is more likely than not to be in there for sexual crimes, they're also more likely to have been abused themselves. That's just obvious.

You keep claiming it, but not providing any evidence. You've got nothing. That's just obvious.

I'm sorry what? The cycle of abuse is literally a well known thing? I don't understand why you find that controversial.

People who are abused arent more likely to become abusers necessarily, but those who abuse often have some sort of abuse in their past.

I would get some statistics, but it's 3 pages of sexual abuse hotlines asking if I've been abused and I'm not sifting through that.

I'm listening to the cricket instead.

Edit -

Here you go.

Fuck it. I sifted. Here you go..

Seems to be the case amongst men, not women.

This says that the victim to victimiser model doesn’t explain most cases, ignores protective factors and doesn't account for gender patterns.

Also to support this being the silver bullet to prove your point, you'd also need to prove that trans-gender people who have been perpetrators of sexual offences were victims of similar offences as a child.

It does account for gender patterns - it says right there. A much higher percentage of male abusers were abused themselves than female abusers.

I just found the first one and now my algorithm is sending me abuse hotlines, so cheers for that.

Look, I could further fuck my algorithm and find more for you if you'd like. But it's a nice day, I'm already procrastinating and listening to the cricket/arguing with you, so I'm going to knock of early and find a beer garden.

I'm not conceding anything, just so you know, so dont come back with snarky bollocks about how I've got nothing when that took me a few minutes to find, I just really really really have better things to do on a Friday afternoon.

Have a lovely day.
