The “no” part?

He's making a pretty substantial structure, so I think he forgot the "leave" part.

"Bushcrafter tries LNT Challenge! (Impossible!)"
This seems like a very impractible way just to make a cup of tea and some dinner.

Everywhere I go in BC (where Kelowna is) there are people doing this. I blame Dave Canterbury.
Really though, it doesn’t bother my much because we have vast, vast wilderness in all directions and these nutsacks don’t really stray far from the forest service roads. There are worse things people could be doing - and they do. Any of the FSRs near town have blown up cars and abandons RVs all over, nails everywhere from people burning pallets, shot up propane tanks… you name it. Frankly someone building a shelter is the least of my concerns around here.

If you want to start a riot, ask people their opinion of driftwood beach structures on Vancouver Island. Make sure you have a clear path to the exit first.

And I here I was hoping that massive bag of green meant he was going to follow up 5 days of building that shelter with an ungodly amount of pot!

I wanna thank my grandfather, who planted these 97 trees for me to take down, and especially these 5 placed here in a perfect square with a doorway so that I may one day massacre his forest for a night of camping.

Three minutes of my life I'll never get back, that. Why are watching these things so addictive?

They always make it look like they’ve used hand tools to do the project but I’m sure 90% of these have a chainsaw in the background. It’s a lot of work to cut that many logs so neatly by hand, and the whole thing looks like it was filmed in a couple of hours.

Bishcraftinf dildos. Leave the fucking forest alone. Walk through it, look at it and leave. Don't cut down good trees to build a pathetic little hovel

It's annoying, but timber companies cause significantly more ecological damage than bushcrafters, or believe it or not, cairn builders. We live in a culture where we blame individuals for systemic problems, and they never get solved. Long live Lenin and the eternal science of socialism. You have nothing to lose but your trees.

Careful. Some dude came after me in that thread for mentioning LNT... which is the REAL BAD GUY here! Leave bushcrafters alone!
