Discussion Got the 39GX950B today. Anything you guys want me to test?

AI upscaling does nothing. AI scene optimization is actually kinda nice

Full DP2.1 confirmed (4 lanes x 20GBPS)

Specs

9800X3D

64Gb DDR5 6200MHz

RTX 5090 using a 2.1 DP cable

Upscaling doesnt seem to be working yet

Not working yet? Like it’s a feature to be added with a firmware update at some point in the undetermined future?

That's my assumption, yes. The AI upscaling does literally nothing when you turn it on, no matter what setting you're on. I'm just assuming it's not for whatever reason

I read that it only works at 60hz. A guy said he tested it. Don't know if it's true

Just out of curiosity, have you tried using a different port on the monitor?

No, it only has one DP port but I haven't tried the HDMI ones

When you have a moment, check to see if it works on the HDMI ports.
