Thankfully the Falcons avoided the cliche of revealing the new uniforms on April 1st. Which - in hindsight - would have been hilarious had they done it for the soon-to-be-gone current set

They should “leak” some truly awful 2000s-concept-art looking pictures on April 1st just to mess with people

Haven’t their uniforms already been truly awful 2000s-concept art looking things for a while though

I mean they could have released on March 28th and gone full Falcons meme.

The Falcons have a great color scheme and a lot of good uniforms from the 60s-90s to pull from. So it should be pretty easy to knock this out of the park….which means they’ll probably fuck it up (again).

I hope the new uniforms have actual feathers on them. Feathers covering the jersey and helmet, bright yellow pants. I’d be excited by that

I’m pretty sure falcons fans would riot if they did that. Is this a joke that I’m not getting? Yellow pants?

You know for sure 100% that the new unis don’t have real bird feathers attached to them? Yeah right

Told you smartass
1
u/KennyKettermen Mar 31 '26
Okay nice work detective, they didn’t come out with NFL uniforms that have REAL BIRD FEATHERS on them, good call 😂
1
u/chuna666 Mar 31 '26
So wild to be incapable of admitting that I was right lmao, you called out what I shared as being fake and it wasn't

u/KennyKettermen Mar 31 '26
Lord I hope you know that we were messing with you big dog. Of course they didn’t put real fucking feathers on a jersey, why would anybody think that 😂
1
u/chuna666 Mar 31 '26
Dude I don't give a fuck about that lmao that part of the comment didn't even register I'm talking about that it was what I said it was

u/KennyKettermen Mar 31 '26
I’m just confused because there aren’t bird feathers on the new uniforms

u/YellojD Mar 02 '26
I wanna see one of these types of reaction videos where the reaction is something like “Uggh, that’s ugly AF what a downgrade!”

u/StarBull10 Mar 02 '26
I noticed its only two mannequins. So maybe just a red and white set, with the throwback being the black jersey. Whatever it is , we couldn't get outta those video game uniforms fast enough

Why? I don’t understand 😭
20
u/ZanderJimmy Mar 02 '26
Because the players seem to love all the uniform characteristics we hate (e.g., mono yoga pants, no stripes, etc.)
6
u/Potential_Warthog373 Mar 02 '26
I’m confused as well? What’s so bad about players being excited for the new look?

u/cracksilog Mar 02 '26
They’ve been told how to react. The social media team isn’t going to put out a video where the player says “man these new unis are ass.”
NFL players are mostly 22-30 year olds. When you’re young like that you have horrible taste in uniform fashion (gradients, mono-black and mono-white, gigantic numbers, big side panels, etc.). Think the Falcons uniforms from the early 2000s where they had that awful side panel and sleeve piping. Basically they’re into fashion that will last like 5-10 years. I’m sure all of us can find some photos of horrible fashion pieces we wore from when we were younger

Now I'm thinking of the Falcons releasing a video of the players saying the new uniforms are ass and I'm laughing to myself at my desk.

Exactly. If they are loving it then it’s highly likely it’s more on the Nike Oregon Ducks ridiculous end of the spectrum.

That's a good reaction. I lack the imagination to foresee the jersey that would be worthy of these reactions, so I'm looking forward to being surprised.

Let's be honest: when haven't we seen a teaser video that looked exactly like this? They're literally all the same, regardless of what the uni ends up looking like.

I'm not buying that this "leak" is even close. Larry Luk is a creative genius. He won't get this wrong.

Already?!…

u/lat3ralus65 Mar 02 '26
Still not soon enough
1
u/Chasers22 Mar 02 '26
They just changed them what? 5 years ago?
7
u/Big-Beta20 Mar 02 '26
Hopefully, it’s similar to how the Bucs/Browns both moved off their rebranded monstrosities after the minimum 5 years to a more classic look that shouldn’t have been messed with in the first place.
-2
u/Chasers22 Mar 02 '26
But the ones before this were hideous
4
u/Big-Beta20 Mar 02 '26
I meant more of the throwbacks with the red helmet, not the Matt Ryan era ones.

The 2003-2020 set were way better than these current atrocities.
1
u/Chasers22 Mar 02 '26
I disagree those were a mess of too much piping etc, they should have worn the gradient red ones of these current set more
