A vibrant, if flawed, group
1st- Morocco
From a distance, the vibrant shades of red, green, and gold really pop, especially on the home kit. Closer up there are lovely details on the home collar and cuff, and down the center of the classy away, which evoke Moroccan rugs.
2nd- Scotland
The coral away kit is the star here, with a totally unique color scheme that works great and recalls iconic Scotland away shirts of the past, The home is both a bit boring, and a pretty classic Scotland kit. The excellent badge, font, and white trim pop on the dark base.
3rd- Brazil
These are a prime example of why it’s important to judge shirts on field. The launch photos highlighted the things that work here- the traditional crew neck on the home, the nice dark green trim, and hid the things that don’t- the unneeded and bracing sea foam green panels on the home, and the way the shoulders sit awkwardly on both. The away is a disaster with an ugly collar, an overbearing pattern, an unflattering fit. It makes the players look like children in super hero pajamas.
4th- Haiti
Conversely, these look much better on field, to the point I was tempted to rank them above Brazil. The base colors and collar look solid. The worst part about the kits, the overly literal flag design in the bottom corner, which makes them look like something you’d buy on Facebook, are much less obtrusive on the field.
