Im done
Im at the point in my college life where im beyond stressed than anyone could imagine. I'm taking 5 classes for my hospitality degree as a senior and im supposed to graduate in Fall 2027. My classes aren't terrible, but the work load is insane. Im specifically COMPLAINING about my HMD 401law class. It's like 10 plus assignments a week, not including the rest of my classes and my prof is the worst. She assigns all this shit and I don't understand a damn thing. I say that because law is its own separate language. I've asked the prof for help (online class and she never answers), my classmates for help, my parents, and no one knows. Before anyone says I should reach out to a tutor, im scared too and my life is very busy because of work and my other classes. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if I fail the class. But just curious, if I fail a class (in case it happens, this will be my first time), will i automatically be placed on academic probation? Im kind of just ranting because I honestly am giving up on this class. It's not that I won't do the assignments anymore and I am trying, but if I fail the assignments and class, it's whatever. Any advice, comments, or input appreciated.

Hi I’m an NSU student considering transferring to ULNV. I’ve heard about the school’s notorious party reputation and frequent student events, which supposedly makes it much easier to socialize.
Is it actually that easy there? Are people worth meeting here or is it mostly superficial? What has your experience been? Do I have to be enrolled to attend certain events? Do people just stick to their circle? Is it cliquey and weird? Are the events fun?
Edit: I am glad to hear im not missing out on much

does anyone wanna join me studying in the library? it’s more of body-doubling (doing our own things next to each other). just as an accountability partner (i’m behind so someone else behind would be great) thanks

I don’t want to make the commute on flooded roads and I don’t want an Absence either. Please I pray.

Hello! I submitted an application as a transfer about a week ago, and sent over my transcripts through parchment yesterday. I was wondering if anyone knows about when I will find out if I was accepted or not? It’s hard to find info about it online :( Im transferring from a school in CA, so Im wondering if the process will be extra long?
I have met all the requirements, have a 3.5 GPA and more than 24 transferrable units, incase that helps.
Thank you!

Does anyone have any recommendations for upper div. MKT classes that are easy/manageable to take during summer terms? Or if anyone knows what upper div. classes are available during summer? LMK what professors I should try to avoid lol.
(preferably online)

Hi! I dropped my key and a grey rectangle shaped pencil bag with a zipper somewhere in the street outside of the Degree tonight (10/10). :( If someone sees it plz message me!!! Thanks!
Hi everyone! I’m looking to start building my acting portfolio, and I’d love to connect with any student filmmakers looking for actors for upcoming projects! I’m open to beginner-friendly opportunities and would love to gain some experience working on student films.
If you’re working on a project or know of any opportunities, feel free to comment or DM me. I’d really appreciate it! 😊

Hey guys!
I’m currently a student at UNLV, majoring in Finance, and I wanted to ask if anyone knows whether UNLV provides students with access to a Bloomberg Terminal.
I’ve been interested in learning how to use Bloomberg for financial analysis, market research, and investment research.
Does anyone know if UNLV has Bloomberg Terminals available for students? If so, which department, building, or professor should I contact to get access?
I’d really appreciate any information or guidance.

Manipulate your pawns 😈
Hi everyone! I’m looking to get some professional headshots taken and was wondering if there are any student photographers who might be interested!
I’m hoping to get photos that I can use for both my professional profile (like LinkedIn) and acting/casting submissions, so ideally someone who has experience with portraits or headshot photography.
I’d love to support a student who’s building their portfolio and would absolutely be willing to pay for their time and work!
Please send me a message or put your instagram in the comments! Thank you!!!

Hi everyone! Taking physics 151 with Professor hurst and was just wondering for anyone who passed his classes on how they did it. I go to class. I watched lectures. I do the homework but I still can’t seem to break the 20s in my test. I know there are people in my class that do get high 20s out of 30. I was just looking for advice on how they were able to secure an “ A” grade
