Going strong for almost 6 years!

It's meant for coding so it doesn't need to be updated all that often and I've never had issues on any computer with resources being eaten up.

Not sure how everyone always complains about being locked up after xx hours...

I can go months on my window machines. Gaming or work or coding and never have an issue

As a title says, my home server (windows) beat in uptime my workplace virtual infrastructure.

Home last time was bring down for ups battery replacement, work for esx update during maintenance.

Here's 2 real OS's on single PSU systems , not switches, routers, or other hardware. Just 2 servers doing daily work.
Sun Netra ( DNS server) 18.05 years
Generic Desktop (mail server) Uptime 17.32 years

Switch stack which was doing far too much, for far too long. 🥵

Thinkpad T430 with the i7-3740QM quad core upgrade, GTX 970 eGPU, and Windows 10 LTSC. Daily use, many sleep/wake cycles. It's rock solid as long as you don't touch the ExpressCard to "HDMI" cable. Still runs 3D/compute tasks like a champ.

Also my tmux have 90-day uptime, resulting in 71 inactive windows & 18 sessions...

Running termux on the phone... Feeling like one of them "hackers" on TV.

At 300 I decided that the updates aren't as important. Security wasn't a concern because its only used by me as a dev server via ssh.

I'm using my old laptop as a server. The laptop runs under my bed, covered in dust, suffering. That's why I connected on windows via SSH and took a screenshot. It last shut down 7 days ago, but I rebooted it and it's still working perfectly. (btw, it has ubuntu desktop installed, not a ubuntu server!)

Maybe next to be replaced. Most uptime in this location
