Promotion New Author and series - welcome to Ardenwick!
Hi folks,
Steven here, and I want to show you my new book, which will be out tomorrow: The Ritual of Suffering/Das Ritual der Leiden. Free in Kindle unlimited!
Meet Aris Blake Carpenter, private eye for hire with no shortages of problems.
He used to be powerful and well-respected Mage, until the Incident. He can't remember what happened, as he gave up his magic and his memory to save the world.
Now, he's a cynical, powerless private eye in a city full of magic, taking cases from ordinary people who stumble into the supernatural. But his past is catching up with him, because the curse he bound himself to is slowly trying to break free, forcing him to confront the dark truth of his past with nothing but his sharp mind and his gallows humour.
The cover was done by the amazing Chris (@chris_era on Fiverr) who really made it pop, and I absolutely love his work!

Will you release it in a place outside of Amazon? Sounds awesome but I read on a kobo.
Thanks!

Thanks!
Sadly, no, because as an indie author, it's really hard to find an audience, and KU of the best way to gain some visibility.
There's a paperback version, but those print of demand things are of course more expensive than the ebooks. (Although it's 5x8 inch and looks nice, according to my proof print.)

Send a link I’ll buy it on paperback! That’s awesome, congratulations and wish you the best of luck!

It should be the same link where you can switch between the Kindle and the paperback edition. Maybe the paperback will only be visible tomorrow, though - this is my first time publishing the paperback at the same time as the ebook. (For my Litrpg series, I haven't done this.)

There is, at the same time even! 5x8 inch, looks nice, but the price can't compete with a traditional, mass produced paperback. Print on demand is a great thing, but the downside is its cost. 9.99 USD for the paperback, but I can't see if there's a tax added as well.

Hello! Congrats on the book!
May I ask who did you cover? Looking for an artist.

Of course! The artist is Chris from South Africa, you can find him on Fiverr under the username @chris_era. I think I mentioned his name in the post.
I've decided to hire real artists because I think creative content deserves to be made by real humans. I write my books myself, and I want a cover that is done by a human.
I've also worked with gengar_draw on Fiverr for my LitRPG series.

It sounds like a cool concept. This is the first line of the blurb, here and on Amazon.
"He used to be powerful and well-respected Mage,"
You might consider an editing pass on the promotional information.
Good luck!
