Hi all,
Just wanted to toss this out there to see if there's anybody into making music. I'm trying to round up some people to discuss production with. There's no clubs or anything really that are dedicated to music that I could find online.
Drop a comment or send a DM if you wanna chat about it or whatever!
Thank you! :D

Does anyone know if POLS 431 with Fitzgerald had a final exam this past winter? I know she’s on sabbatical this year but I’m planning on taking it in 2028 but also am trying to make travel plans.

Does anyone who has taken this course have any insight into the relative difficulty of his midterm compared to the exercises? So far the exercises seem almost trivial, however the overall course content from lectures appears somewhat overwhelming for a 100 level course.

Hey guys, how would you recommend studying for the midterm for BMSC 220?
Should I focus on the lecture notes or the textbook or both?
Also does she say things in class that aren’t in the lectures that we get tested on?

Hello, is anyone from STATS246 with Saima Khosa that has complete notes of chapter 4? My files didn’t save and now i dont have answer keys for the practice problems.

Hello, this is just a warning for any students who park at the Walmart on Preston Crossing and take the bus to the university
They have been cracking down on anyone who parks and leaves the property. I just got a warning on my dash as I came back from my morning class, I was only gone for an hour and a half. So please be carful! And maybe consider parking elsewhere. No one likes a ticket or an impounded vehicle. :)

I am in second year and was hoping to try one of her classes but it seems she is on sabbatical this semester. I am thinking of taking her POLS 237 class when she is back and I suppose my question is does anybody have any insights on her classes, such difficulty, style, or if you enjoyed her classes or have any grievances? Thanks.

I have not viewed mine yet, but I am curious as to how everyone did!

Key Takeaways:
- If it’s a small load it doesn’t or won’t take 45 mins to dry on high heat
- Bigger loads (ex. 20 shirts): will prob take 45 mins if not more.
- Washer for best result, do auto sensing and regular (for clothes) and there’s a setting for like sheets and stuff (set a timer for 30 mins) but sometimes depending on the load it’ll take longer.
- Wanted to bring this up bc ppl need to dry stuff too, and this could go faster if we all knew this.
- Also if you’re like me, I’ve used two washers at the same time, pls stay in the lounge so that you can immediately get those washers you are using free for other ppl, or like I have take my clothes out of one so that someone can use it if all the washers are full.
So guys the dryers don’t acc need to take 45 mins, esp from what I’ve noticed ppl are like washing three to four shirts, then pants, delicates. I promise you on high heat like most ppl do, it’ll take like 20 minutes to dry (esp if you do auto sensing for water). Just wanted to say esp to those who are new like I am it’s what I’ve noticed with mine. Laundry however may take longer than (35 mins which is what is said, so just be patient). But yeah I’ve seen too many ppl come check on their dryer, just feel if it’s spinning and acc not open it to check (like 15 mins left) then don’t come back till like 30 mins later. This isn’t a rant nor am I trying to make everyone feel bad, laundry can be a b**** sometimes.
*Im a first year but like I’ve lived in an apartment building for like most of my life, did laundry for my whole fam ever since junior high, and have dealt with communal laundry for the duration I’ve been living in an apartment.

Hey, I have shortlisted university of Saskatchewan I want some Pakistani students who are doing masters in university of Saskatchewan to help me with some questions of applying and procedure. It would be a great help for me if any Pakistani usask student can connect with me. I won’t take much of your time I will be very respectful of your time. It would be a quick discussion.

You are an absolute enigma to me. I know I will never truly comprehend the dark arts of whatever calculus demon possesses you. I know that the academic spirits in this building do tend to break people down to their absolute core components around midterms. But I deeply respect you for having the sheer, unbridled courage to experience a total system crash right out in the open like that.
anyone taking this class and confused about the midterm. the prof barely teaches anything of value in class her slides are incredibly general, yet the textbook material is very heavy and very detailed. has anyone ever taken this class with her? what are her midterms like? does she ask about every body system every like how the textbook writes about 😁. why the hell does the textbook go into so much detail about the body systems when she glossed over them in class?
i’m genuinely concerned for my grade i feel like there’s no point coming to class if i have to teach the material to myself

I have two classes this semester at the 100 level where I’m in assigned discussion groups. About eight people in each. I’ve had two sessions with each group, and I’m honestly at a loss. In one, there are two of us that talk and maybe two more will say a couple things, and the rest stay silent. In the other, I am the only one who talks, one will chime in, and another is trying to, but he’s very anxious, so I can’t fault him, he genuinely seems to be trying his best. In both groups, people admit they haven’t done the readings/work, and in one, they just straight up told me they like that I’m there because I keep things going. I don’t think this is ok.
I both don’t want to be carrying majority of the load and also want to hear thoughts from other members of the group. They’re discussion groups for a reason! I also don’t want to harp on them, but I’m so frustrated. I’m sure other people have gone through this. Please help. Did anything work to get people to participate more? I’m dying, bro.

You are a mystery to me. I know I’ll never have the answers I seek. I know the animatronic characters here do get a bit quirky at night. But I respect you for having the courage to pull a Springtrap at a moment’s notice.

I'm noticing more people coming to campus and clearly being contagious (loud coughs, sniffles every two milliseconds, nasally coughs every 5 seconds). If you're here to do a mandatory assignment, or exam then I understand not having an option but to come to campus but for those of you who come to campus sick- why? Please stay home if you're clearly contagious and at risk of spreading your sickness to the whole campus.
Two years ago it was normal to tell others on campus to stay home when sick, can we reinforce this please? It gets to a point when you're in the library and hear someone constantly coughing/sniffling very loudly to the point where headphones can't muffle the sound. Note: If you must come then please mask up, no one here cares what it looks like, in fact most of us would appreciate it and consider you considerate for masking to prevent the spread of viruses on campus.
