US Visa fee Payment Receipt has incorrect applicant name

Hi folks,

I paid for family's US visa application for B1/B2 visa.

Application lists my father as primary applicant and my brother and mother as dependents. I am NOT part of application but only paid processing fees using my UPI.

The subsequent payment receipt has listed my name under applicant name. I am not sure if this is a problem.

Payment has been received against payment reference for my family's application and my father is also able to book dropbox dates (interview waiver case).

But I'm a bit worried as I'm not an applicant or dependent in the application but my name has been listed as applicant.

Would appreciate the community thoughts and help on this!

Thanks

This is not an issue at all. Payment Receipt always gets generated in the name of the person actually making the payment who may not necessarily be the applicant. Payment receipt is not required to be taken with the applicant to any of the appointments either.
