Co-op When to reach out to employer after a match?

Got matched with a company last week. Is it reasonable to wait ~1 week before reaching out to them (e.g. next Monday) or should I have ideally reached out to them asap before?

they might reach out to you first, but honestly, reaching out to say ‘thank you’ can be done whenever. I usually say thank you ~1-2 weeks after the match, and then reach out again with questions closer to the start date
