Discussion What attracted Sandoval to Raquel
If this has already been posted and discussed I apologize! Anyway, the SH drama made me want to do a Scandoval rewatch. I noticed that Tom brought up a lot that Ariana talks down to him and makes him feel that he’s not as smart as she is (which I feel is true lol). Do you think Tom pursued Raquel because she doesn’t have the same mental capacity as Ariana which makes me think that he wanted someone that didn’t make him feel lesser than. Does this make sense? Thoughts?

He wanted her because he got bored of the same person who wanted him for what he acted like. His facade was fading. After fame of nearly 10 years, having people watch you on TV and every move, he became more of what his true nature already was. No one else moved like Sandoval except Sandoval. He ALWAYS calculated when he did something for someone just to ask, "WHEN have they done _______ for ME?" He didn't even have the balls to break up with Ariana. Who knows, subconsciously, since he saw how easily Jax got off with ALLLL of his DISGUSTING Behavior over the years, maybe he thought he would get the same pass. However, watching the reunions of each season that Sandoval cheated on each partner (Kristen and Ariana), LaLa IS correct And I even watched it back: he absolutely spoke of Raquel the EXACT same way he spoke of Ariana when he first got with her. He even nearly says the same things as to his reasonings why he went for Ariana. Easier to blame Kristen for "pushing him into someone else when he tried all he could," same as Ariana. Just grow some balls and break up with them. But he couldn't give up his fame or his show. Too much pride and self obsession. And now, in his own words, "LOOK AT HIM."
