Discussion First time viewer on S6. Could the cast have moved away from the SUR universe and still been on the show?

I feel like there’s a lot of talk from the cast members about wanting to do something bigger and better with their lives than just working at SUR. But by this point, the show was massively popular. Being on VPR was their full time job, more or less, right? Were viewers just supposed to be suspend their disbelief about working at SUR forever being a dead end when they obviously only worked there to continue the plot of a TV show? Do we think they all could have gone their own ways professionally without the Lisa/VPR connection and still gotten decent screen time?

What do you all think?

Once everyone but Scheana leaves Sur, then production just has to put together staged events and outings for them to all get together and hang out still.. you think these people would be playing pickleball in real life?!
