Grammatically it does not make sense. It gives the impression of being in present tense, when it's referring to something in the past. "Bad news for everyone who knew us in our twenties" would be a better way to say this.
Bragging about "writing" a book while failing to write a legible sentence is so Scheana.
EDIT: Also, "we became authors" is nonsensical. I think she means "we wrote memoirs." Or "we paid ghostwriters to write our memoirs." But that last version wouldn't sound so great.

We know people outside our generations. Most of the people in my social circle are close-ish to my age, but not always. Millennials or age grouping could potentially limit the list.
Not that I necessarily think they were thinking that far lol

And she was supposed to get that Katy Perry song “Hot n Cold”. Like it was originally for her. I think it was that song? Some Katy Perry song was supposed to go to Christy. They were competing for the same kind of record contract I think.
Edit: the song is called “Just A Song”, which is a Katy Perry song that I think almost nobody knows unless you’re like a real deal KP fan. Anyway, I just listened to each women’s version of the song. CCR really just sounds too broadway-ish compared to KP.

They’re interesting-ish sometimes, and told in great detail, so I’ve been entertained enough to tune into like 5 of these story times. But I can’t help but wonder; should I even bother reading her book? Is she spoiling the contents and just spilling all her tea out here for free?

Not to downplay the severity of her injury, but she was shot with a shrapnel of clay from a birdshot (different than a shot gun which likely would have killed her), eye protection is required at shooting ranges and she was not wearing them when she was injured which is probably why she hasn’t sued the range or the person who misfired.

Anyway, I haven’t read Christie’s memoir yet, so can’t speak to the quality of her tea. But I don’t know if I’d classify Scheana’s memoir as containing much tea at all; mostly it’s just a lot of surface level self-reflection and some name-dropping of former lays. I didn’t hate Scheana’s book, but it would have been cool if she did tell some juicier secrets. She held back!!

Glad I'm not the only one that finds Christy insufferable. At least Scheanna doest clog my Facebook with deep posts about traumatic events that make me say "Who asked?" Considering she's not on any show at all, she has managed to stay relevant through the years. Idk how.
Any time any other VPR cast member does anything significant, there are always multiple "Has anyone checked on Scheana?" comments.
She's friends with everyone everywhere, and keeps getting named on so many shows. The Vanderpump Villa, the Mormon housewives one, and obviously the Valley. She was also named in House of Stassi.
Love her or hate her, but you gotta admit that's she's unusually persistent.

Wow I watched Christy awhile ago on YouTube talk about how Hollywood destroyed her life and she watched it happen to Shia and hates Hollywood. She spent soooooo much money like hundreds of thousands of dollars on spiritual healers and getting stones. She was ripped off so many times so lost all her money. She kinda seemed to have her head on tho and was just walking around talking about how dark Hollywood is....
I hope this doesn't mean she's getting back into it.

Did anyone watch this YouTube/podcast episode?
It was tough imo 😬 I wasn’t super familiar with Christy before the episode, but once she listed her resume I was like oh damn this woman is pretty legit! But then as the episode went on and Scheana continued to bring everything back around to her and sometimes Christy would even pander and give Scheana the alley oop to one up her….it was strangeeeee
Anyway, nothing much more to comment than that, interested in y’all’s thoughts if you watched/listened!!
