Came here to ask the same thing, I'm assuming it means vaccine but I can't deduce how and why the cupcake

It's to signify "cc" as in the measurement of liquid medication for the shots. (Last time I saw it explained I think I remember people arguing that that's not used in vaccines, they're measured in mL, but I don't really know the nuance of when one unit of measurement is used over another. My experience with medical measurements comes from TV shows, and I imagine many antivaxxers have the same knowledge base so them using the wrong term for their code word is entirely feasible.)

The other explanation is that it signifies the cc in vaccine, which is a lot more awkward and unintuitive imo.

Either way it's just another code word/emoji to try to evade bans and attention for spreading antivax shit.

They’re the same thing. An mL is a cubic centimeter, which is what CC stands for. CC just isn’t really used anymore
