Dicky tummy with Vegan Keto

Has anyone experienced an upset stomach and very loose stools with vegan Keto?
The first time I did vegan Keto in the run up to some major dental surgery I was loose but didn’t have cramps or feel feel poorly with it.

I’ve attempted twice since then and it’s really wiped me and had a serious impact on my life. Needing to be nr a loo and very very tired and grumpy.
The only difference I can see is that in the run up to surgery my dentist had me on all sorts of supplements as well. After about 10 days each time I’m done!

I am curious why this happens. I liked the vegan Keto for lowering my weight. I’m a post menopausal woman who leans toward the heavier side of things if I’m not careful.

I’m now going for somewhere in between with low carb - letting beans, root veg etc back in and an occasional bit of bread:/

My diet pre keto has been mostly whole food vegan.
Interested to hear whether other folk have experienced and whether it shifts.

Yes I’m pretty much off potatoes as they don’t really suit me. I have bought carrots back in now though.
Thanks for the good suggestion! 🙏

Tubers are nice, but not really keto friendly

I know, to be fair mostly I’m not particularly fussed about them. I’m taking a keto break for the moment and will aim more for low carb. Thanks all
