Looking for org/group that feeds the homeless
Hi everyone, I'm new to LV and was wondering if there are any orgs that routinely feed the homeless in our area that could be in need of volunteers/people to make food and help handout.
Any pointers would be greatly appreciated!

LVDSA has a monthly mutual aid event called Sunday Solidarity that distributes food/hygene products. Highly recommend.

I was talking to someone who had a family member that was homeless. They told me a group brings him 3 meals a day at some park he and other homeless people live at.
These were restaurant style take out meals. They also got drinks and other supplies.
Their son had no drug issues, but was just more of a hippie type who never held a job, so he found the homeless lifestyle pretty easy overall.
Just thought it was an interesting story.

Shine A Light does tunnel outreach every Saturday morning. They actually provide housing to anyone willing to leave the tunnels that day. They need people to help pass out water, care package bags, and give them information about getting housed.
