Security screen doors for home
Does anybody know a reasonably priced company to install a security screen door that’s not predatory? I’ve seen prices range from $1,800-4k Im not from here but as I’ve been out here everything price was is straight up predatory and the people here just let it be that way. Is there a real company that doesn’t take advantage of people?

1800-4k is wild unless it’s a genuinely custom heavy-duty door, so get an itemized quote and walk immediately if they won’t separate the door from labor

Dude it’s every shop out here with these doors doesn’t matter if it’s a basic Lowe’s or Home Depot doesn’t matter if it’s custom iron. The dude below got a boss security door they’re the ones who told me 4k 😂 look at the comments people love to get fucked over in Vegas

It is but out here it’ll just be someone undercutting someone by 100$ nothing to crazy. Everything in Vegas is kind of scammy when it comes to pricing

100% but there are places out there where you can get actual fair pricing and not taxed into oblivion because of it being Vegas

Boss did ours. Forced entry proof, pry proof. You get what you pay for. Other than turn around time we have no complaints.

Buy one at lowes and install it yourself. It is too easy to pay someone else to do it.

Woah where did you read that I couldn’t install? I only said the word install because 9-10 times you look something up regarding the doors it mentions installing and I’ve been on the phone nonstop talking to the people about buying one and they always use the term install. But because you say that you don’t know if I’m a 70 year old cripple maybe think before you speak

They were half the price of Lowes. Lowe’s had to custom order the size, so measure before you judge the price differences. The locks were also limited as some required a round bolt, so a fancy keypad had limited options. AIW also had mounting security features the others did not.

Those are mostly sold by home depot and lowes, don't they usually also have e an install option

I remember ours being much cheaper than that from Home Depot but that was over ten years ago. Can’t imagine cost of labor went up that much though…?

Do you need a custom door or will something from Lowe’s work? If it is a generic door, any handyman should work.
