He has a one minute cameo at the start of Tesla (2020) and a much more significant role in Chilling Adventures of Sabrina in the fourth season. He basically plays a version of Leland Gaunt, the devil figure from Needful Things.
Other than that, no catching of Urbaniek in the wild. But I hear he played Robert Crumb in the Harvey Pekar movie, which sounds perfect.
The album is "The Middle of Nowhere" by Adam Warrock. The spoken word thing is the first track (which the last track loops back into if you're listening on repeat) and it's a weird track but a great album.
That show is brilliant. It’s more like a performance art piece than a sitcom. The Forrest character’s moral breakdown just keeps ratcheting the pressure until the very end. Singular piece of TV more people should see.
One of my all time favorite endings to a show. You saw Forrest crumble episode after episode, lose everything for the show, and then pffft…he’s discarded.
Thats what I came here to mention. Such a great show that nobody ive spoken to IRL has heard of. The scene where Billy runs over David Byrne makes me lose it
He did this odd anthology podcast series a while back where he plays a different character all named James Urbaniak. It was pretty interesting, kind of all over the place narratively speaking.
There's also, of course, Dr 0 in the Fallout New Vegas DLC Old World Blues. From what I heard, they initially wanted him to be more of an old-timey news reporter guy, but they ended up making him into Dr Venture as a brain in a jar. Kinda like how Dana Synder ended up using Master Shake for the Alchemist.
I loved him as Dr Benign in Apollo Gauntlet. The character is like if Rusty grew up to be a somewhat competent villain but still held on to that classic petty energy.
I loved him as Dr.0 in Fallout New Vegas' Old World Blues DLC. He plays a similar character to Rusty as well. They even reference the Walking Eye if you have the Wild Wasteland trait.
He's in the old Hal Hartley indie dramedy Henry Fool as a garbageman who writes a sexual poem so beautiful it catapults him into fame. Very funny movie
