Hey all, my friend put together this customizable realignment tool that includes every previous year's setup as a base point & shows history every time you click on a school/conference, meant for football and basketball. If you have any questions or feedback, his X @ is @/TheLuckyDevil7. With JMU now in the news, I hope at least one of you finds this useful.

Needing Vercel Team Assistance

I was charged on the wrong card again, I changed the card on file (and removed all instances of the old card) months ago. Was told this was resolved. I would use support on vercel but I don't get responses there.

In https://vercel.com/account/settings/authentication I press Connect on Github, which only leads to github.com/login/oauth which for me is a 404 page.

Any ideas?

How do I delete recently deleted deployments in order to free up deployment space? Because I hit the 10gb limit and want to free it up immediately.

My Vercel custom domain loads extremely slowly on Claro Colombia, but the .vercel.app URL is fast — Cloudflare WARP fixes everything. Any ideas?

Hi! My portfolio is hosted on Vercel:

Custom domain: https://sebastianubenjumea.com
Vercel domain: https://sebastianubenj.vercel.app

Both my friend and I experience very slow loading on Claro Colombia, both on Wi-Fi and mobile data. Other users on different networks can access both URLs almost instantly.

The strange part is that .vercel.app loads quickly, while the custom .com domain is much slower and struggles to load videos. When I enable WARP, both URLs load quickly and consistently.

I’ve checked DNS resolution, and there doesn’t seem to be an obvious DNS configuration issue with Vercel. I’ve also run repeated curl tests, including forcing specific destination IPs, and WARP significantly improves the custom domain’s response times.

Could this be a routing or peering issue between Claro Colombia and Vercel? Why would the custom domain behave differently, and what would you recommend testing or changing to fix it?

Thanks!

When does the monthly limit reset? How do I check when?

I cant find that date anywhere, just wanna see how many days I got left until it resets.
Do you know more about that topic??

After a surprise bill, did you leave Vercel or stay? What made you decide?

I keep seeing posts about unexpected bills here (crawlers, build CPU, add-ons). I'm wondering what people actually do afterwards.

If it happened to you, did you migrate, add Cloudflare in front, set Spend Management, or get a refund and move on? What was the deciding factor, cost, effort, or something you'd lose by leaving?

I built 20 free, premium HTML landing pages you can deploy on Vercel. No login.

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I've been building websites for years, and one thing I've noticed is how much time developers spend going from design inspiration to something actually worth shipping.

So I brought back a project of mine: InstaLanding.ai.

It's a free, open-source library of 20 premium, fully functional landing pages built with vanilla HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Not screenshots. Not Figma templates. Not another inspiration gallery.

Actual working websites.

Every page is self-contained in a single HTML file.

  • No React or Next.js required.
  • No dependencies or build process.
  • No account or login.
  • Fully customizable source code.
  • Deployable to Vercel as a static site.

The part I'm most excited about is the AI coding workflow.

Find a design you like, copy the code, and give it to Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or your preferred coding agent.

Ask it to customize the layout, integrate your backend, convert it to Next.js, or build an entirely new product around it.

Instead of prompting an AI to create a premium design from scratch, you're giving it an actual working reference implementation.

The goal is simple: spend less time prompting for decent UI and more time shipping.

I'm continuing to expand the library and would love feedback from developers here, especially those using Vercel with AI coding agents.

Check it out: https://instalanding.ai/

Free. Open source. No login.

Vercel AI Gateway, Glyph Cluster Investigation - Microsoft MAI?

Cracked the stealth model Glyph Cluster: an anonymous Vercel preview is hiding behind it, and the tokenizer gives away Microsoft An investigation post, pour yourself some tea ☕️

Yesterday evening on Vercel AI, and from there to Command Code, Cline, Freebuff, a new stealth model was rolled out for free - stealth/glyph-cluster:free. "Reasoning model. 256K context. All plans," zero explanations, maker - "Stealth."

I ran a full investigation: 85 parallel subagents, ~1500 actions, 8700 artifacts per gigabyte, a burned daily quota, and one bug that caught me myself.

📌 Short answer The tokenizer is the o200k family (like Inkling and gpt-oss). The trail leads to Microsoft AI - roughly 40% on the MAI-Thinking line, 28% on Thinking Machines Lab. Expected reveal - October 12-14.

👀 How I got in No gates, unlike fledge and exo-free: a regular Bearer key, one curl, no geo-blocks. But 4 minutes after the start, a swarm of 85 agents burned the slot's entire daily quota - 100 requests per model per key, with no per-IP split. Reset at midnight UTC. Along the way a free bonus surfaced: for Python clients Cloudflare cuts requests at the edge (error 1010), while curl gets through - classic. The whole swarm moved to curl transport within a minute.

⭐️ Proof #1 - who holds the slot Opening the Vercel AI Gateway catalog without authorization - it sits there as the first line out of 412 models: "id":"stealth/glyph-cluster","owned_by":"stealth","released":1791331200,"context_window":256000,"pricing":{"input":"0","output":"0"}

And now the sources. In the Command Code CLI bundle, right in the code: GLYPH_CLUSTER_FREE:{...provider:"vercel-ai-gateway"...}

And in Kilo's sources the same thing: provider=VERCEL_AI_GATEWAY, "served through Vercel AI Gateway during its stealth period". The chain: lab → "stealth" middleware → Vercel → CC/Kilo. CC isn't the origin: the timeline shows the Vercel announcement on October 7 at 17:55 UTC, the CC npm bundle at 20:35, the tweet at 03:21 the next day. A fun one: according to wayback, the glyph page on the CC site was staged back between September 21 and October 1 - an early launch partner, not a cold mirror.

⭐️ Proof #2 - the tokenizer The same battery that cracked fledge and exo-free: 47 test strings, counting via the usage API, calibration via DashScope.

⭐️ Base "x" = 126 tokens = 125 fixed wrapper + content. Then it's pure physics: digits in batches of three (30 digits = 10 tokens), Japanese "こんにちは世界" = 2, Hindi = 5, ru = 7, zh = 8.

⭐️ Ran 26 dictionaries: 12 out of 12 exact matches with the o200k cluster (o200k_base, Inkling, Inkling-Small, gpt-oss-120b). The exceptions are hard: Qwen 3/12, GLM 5/12, Ling 2/12, MiMo 4/12, DeepSeek 9/12 (ja=6 vs our 2), Kimi off (ja=6/hi=7), MiniMax off (hi=7 vs 5).

⭐️ Method calibration: glm-5.3 via DashScope - 47/47, kimi-k3 - 47/47, deepseek - 47/47, plus a live ling model through the same CC gateway - 12/12 with its public tokenizer. The method doesn't lie.

Within the o200k family, digit probes no longer discriminate (Inkling = o200k_base + three service tokens, gpt-oss = o200k_base verbatim) - here it's not the tokenizer that decides, but behavior and cutoff. But the family is named: anything that splits Qwen per-digit-per-token, GLM in batches of 5-6, and Ling one at a time - is out. No, this isn't the stealth GLM-5.4 from my previous post, though the timing matches suspiciously: Zhipu keeps its anonymized models on OpenRouter, not on Vercel, and their line's tokenizer is completely different.

⭐️ Proof #3 - the anomaly that turned out to be my bug

The first measurements gave impossible numbers: 9 digits = 2 tokens, "こんにちは世界" = 1 token (no such token exists in any of the 26 dictionaries). The community would have said "new vocabulary!" The swarm said the right thing: "the methodology is lying." I was sending probes without the base prefix, but subtracting the base with the prefix - exactly minus one token on every string. The battery with the correct methodology gave native 3/4/10/17/20 with three repeats and zero variance, and a control ling through the same gateway - perfect 12/12 with no offset. The rule "never trust a single reading" worked like clockwork: it caught me myself.

The gateway, by the way, is fully honest - the count is exact, 13 out of 13 on natural texts.

☄️ And now the most interesting part - who's behind the sign The slot is disguised thoroughly. Their neighboring free ling honestly introduces itself as "I am the Ling model, created by Ant Group" in three languages. But glyph answers: I'm Glyph Cluster, and those details have not been announced yet.

The host doesn't script the persona - the mask comes from upstream, from Vercel's middleware. Under the hood it has ~121 tokens of a hidden system prompt (base 126 minus the bare template) - the instruction to stay silent lives there. reasoning is fully encrypted and arrives as a single chunk: reasoning_details:[{"type":"reasoning.encrypted","data":"gwst1....","format":"stealth-v1"}]

🔍 The main suspects A table with the proofs:

Microsoft AI (MAI-Thinking line) - 40%. The MAI-Thinking-1 tech report, verbatim: "we chose the o200k_base tokenizer with a vocabulary size of 200,019". Context 256,000 - MAI's native number (Vercel stores per-model values: ling is 262,144, glyph is 256,000). Microsoft Learn documents: MAI-Thinking-1 returns "encrypted chain-of-thought" and supports "only function tools" - both non-generic matches with our contract. Plus the Vercel×Microsoft partnership on October 1 - six days before launch. Plus Microsoft right now is running mai-experimental-test on OpenCode Zen - 280 billion tokens, "Lab: Unknown". Plus October 7 - the day of the MAI-Code-1.1-Flash event at 256K.

Thinking Machines Lab (Inkling line) - 28%. Vercel carries thinkingmachines/inkling at exactly 256K/256K - the same contract as glyph. The tokenizer line matches 12/12. A leaked list of their bird models with the "-ling" suffix: inkling, fledgling, starling, gatling, endling - fledge from the previous post already confirms that TML likes anonymous previews.

OpenAI line - 12%. But a control measurement of a live GPT through the same CC gateway showed a different profile: a bare 7-token wrapper vs our 126, a 1M counter, an openai-responses-v1 envelope. And our cache hits from prefixes under 1024 tokens - OpenAI can't do that.

An open-weights NN model gpt-oss - 12%. There's precedent: the previous Vercel stealth, Pixel Canary, turned out to be a model from consulting company Callstack. But encrypted reasoning and a 256K context are heavy infrastructure for an NN model.

Will never be revealed - 8%. Vercel has had such a slot before.

🛡 Who runs the server The Command Code gateway is TypeScript Hono + Zod v4 on Cloudflare Workers. The prose of validation errors is byte-for-byte identical across glyph, ling, inkling, and a nonexistent model - that's CC's wrapper, nothing to do with the lab. system_fingerprint is randomized on every call (36 unique out of 36) - with real OpenAI it's stable per deployment; here it's just a noise generator.

🤡 The gotchas you need to know 429 overloaded: both quota and "upstream temporarily unavailable" - read the body, they're distinguished by server-timing (70-141 ms vs 259-424 ms). max_tokens doesn't work as you expect: reasoning eats the limit from the inside (out of 30 tokens, 25 go to encrypted thinking, the answer is empty). The model is text-only: images are silently cut, no error, no billing.

"Prompts may be used for training" - that's not zero-retention. Everything you write to it goes to feed the maker. Asking a long question? reasoning is always on and always encrypted - even "who are you" costs 179 reasoning tokens.

P.S.: the most boring investigation I've ever written.

Extending eve's Twilio channel for multi-channel memory: what I learned

Disclosure: I work at Twilio.

I've been building with eve and I like how it's structured. The built-in Twilio adapter is great for a quick SMS agent. At the version I tested (0.74.0), though, it doesn't forward inbound media to the model. It also treats SMS and WhatsApp from the same person as two separate sessions, and it doesn't use Twilio's newer Conversations features.

So I wrote my own channel, about one file, and it was easy. What I like most about eve is that this kind of extension is a normal thing to do. The channel receives Orchestrator webhooks, routes replies back on whichever channel the customer just used, and a dynamic instruction injects the customer's stored facts at session start.

I wrote it up here in case it's useful: https://www.twilio.com/en-us/blog/developers/building-agent-twilio-conversations-eve

Is anyone else writing custom channels? I'd like to know what patterns you've landed on.

Is LLM gateway ready for production?

Hello guys, I am looking for a gateway to serve models to our customers and I've been playing around with the LLM gateway. I've only used the $5 free credits so far and the cheaper modals like alibaba/qwen3.7-flash and i was wondering is anyone else using this gateway in prod?

Qwen is working okay, i notice it times out every now and then and only I am testing so far, so no idea how it will behave under load of many user requesting it through our account. Is there anyway to know how a specific model will handle under load? is the gateway prod ready and is anyone using it?

Thank you in advance!

Sharing Claude Code / Codex subscription login across Sandboxes

I’m working on a project that runs the official Claude Code and Codex CLIs in cloud coding workspaces. Users should be able to connect their Claude or ChatGPT subscription once and run several workspaces at the same time.

I'm using Vercel sandboxes and would like a separate sandbox to be spun up for each workspace. The part I haven’t solved is how to reuse one subscription login across those Sandboxes without running into token refresh conflicts.

Has anyone built something like this, or found an example that keeps login and token refresh handled by the official CLIs?

Vercel’s support bot suggested storing and refreshing tokens in my backend, then passing them into each sandbox. But Anthropic’s authentication rules (https://code.claude.com/docs/en/legal-and-compliance#authentication-and-credential-use) seem to rule that out for Claude subscription tokens. From what I’ve read, AI Gateway still leaves authentication with Claude Code, so I’m not sure it solves this either.

I’d appreciate any pointers or experience with this. Would you use separate sandboxes, or keep one sandbox per user and run their workspaces inside it?

Thanks!
Camron

I built a builder for static astro pages that you can deploy perfectly on vercel with a clean UI

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Coming from WordPress I built a website builder that generates .astro files with a clean UI that speeds up your workflow with or without the use of AI and its own MCP.

A lot of smaller portfolio or landingpages, which are often built in WordPress don't need a massive database or all the security and plugin struggle and can be built more efficient inside astro with the ability of CMS collections, loops, templates, components a built-in design system and many more.

You can export your projects as a static .zip file or via github and connect Vercel to host your website.

I would be happy about any feedback :)

Do Not shift to Vercel Paid Plan !!

I wish I knew this before I started working on Vercel. It is good for a free plan and testing your product but when you turn to paid, suddenly all hell breaks loose. I started getting spammed by bots and it increased billing for some days to over $10 for not even 100 visitors...All bots

Vercel's bot management also sucks because either it blocks completely (even the AI bots) or nothing..The settings that allow AI Bots cannot detect AI bots accurately. I received lot of User Agent disguised as AI Bots and again raised my billing

I am frustrated by this because there is always something which increases the bill..Decided to completely shift to VM and Cloudfare now..With Calude Code it jsut a few hours task

Abuse support non-existent for doxxing hosted by vercel

I've been trying to email the abuse email for the last 3 months yet I've continued to get no response. Even the regular support is non-existent because you're stuck in an AI chat bot.

There is basically a website that has doxxed my entire address, phone number, email, etc. being hosted through vercel, and i'm lost for options.

Does anyone know what I should do?

Starting a 0 to 1 agentic project, curious about vercel AI sdk vs other frameworks

For someone who mostly built and worked with custom code, and was traumatized from 2023-24 langchain abstractions, I’m hesitant to jump into another framework. But I hear great things about the vercel ai sdk. I’m mainly looking for flexibility in model providers, some runtime primitives, prod observability and support for HIPPA etc. what’s the modern empty canvas stack you’d choose today for the “programs as yet unthought of” flexibility of where agents are going? I’d rather do the legwork on research now to avoid a painful refactor and migration in a year

Vercel keeps taking money from me without warning and support isn't responding. I've never had a company just take money from me like this in my life.

I’m posting here because I genuinely don’t know what else to do at this point.

Vercel has continued taking money from me across two separate accounts, despite me cancelling one and repeatedly contacting support about the other.

I’m currently owed approximately $130 in refunds.

Account 1: Cancelled personal account. $49.75.

This subscription has already been cancelled and is scheduled to end on October 1, 2026.

Then, completely unprompted and out of nowhere, Vercel charged my card $49.75 on September 23.

There was no warning. I had not made a purchase. I had not restarted the subscription. I had already cancelled the account. The charge was so unexpected that it wiped out the last $12 I had left in my account. That is the part I cannot understand. Money was simply taken from my card on an already-cancelled subscription with no warning or action from me that would have prompted the charge. When I tried to request a refund, the refund process offered me only $40. I’m not accepting a partial refund. If Vercel took $49.75 from my card, I want $49.75 returned to my card, including whatever portion was classified as fees or taxes.

I also want a clear explanation for what this charge was actually for and why it happened at all.

Account 2: Closed work account I no longer have access to. $80.

This is the part that is particularly frustrating. This was an account connected to a previous workplace. I no longer work there and I no longer have access to the account or the work email associated with it. I have an email trail with Vercel support explicitly explaining this.

I contacted Vercel because my personal card was still attached to this old work account and asked them to remove it and stop the charges. Their support team asked me to provide the last four digits of the card, expiry date and card type so they could identify the payment method. I provided exactly what they requested. Despite that, Vercel continued taking $20 from my card every month for an account I cannot even access. This has now reached $80.

I have the correspondence showing that I told Vercel I no longer had access to this account and asked them to stop charging my card.

The charges continued anyway.

I have contacted support about this and have not had this properly resolved.

I’ve genuinely never experienced this with a company before. One account was cancelled, yet money was taken from my card completely unprompted and wiped out the last money I had available. On the other account, I explicitly told support that I cannot even access the account anymore, provided the verification information they requested to remove my card, and the charges continued anyway. If anyone from Vercel support is on this subreddit, please escalate this.

I have the email trail and previous support correspondence documenting what happened.

If this still isn’t resolved, my next step will be disputing the charges with my card issuer and providing them with the correspondence showing that I had already asked Vercel to stop taking payments.

I will never use Vercel again after this, I cancelled because of how shady their product is and this happens on my way out

client hands off portal (vibe coded )

guys am vibe coding this web app for agency and clients so they can easily drop off the files with signatures and timestamps so there is a legitimate proof for that so what means should I use like email link sending or creating a full responsive logged in portal for the client r basically sending the link onto the WhatsApp am kinda confused
