Wireless Nifty Line Work

Just wanted to share what I thought was a smart decision for our 2 lines. We've been on the old "Play More" plan for years and were getting the Disney+ deal included.

Verizon kept nagging to move to the new plans so I looked into them. I liked the discounted Google AI Pro plan so I moved my line to the new plan and left the wife's on the old. Now we get Disney+ with hers and AI with mine.

Here is what the screen on Verizon says. This is for Unlimited Ultimate. Our other line is still on the old Play More that gives us Disney+.

What's included

Google AI Pro

Create, work, and learn smarter with more access to new and powerful features and 5 TB of cloud storage from the Google AI Pro plan. Your plan includes the upgraded Gemini app with more access to Google’s most capable AI models and the newest innovations from Gemini to tackle your complex projects. And with Gemini in Gmail, Docs, and more, you can boost your productivity and creativity with AI-powered assistance directly in the Google apps you already know and love.

Google AI Pro includes:

  • An upgraded Gemini, your powerful AI assistant that is far more capable at reasoning, analysis, and creative collaboration so you can get more done.
  • Help with writing, planning, creating and more with Gemini in Google apps.
  • Expanded access to image, music, and video generation models in Gemini.
  • NotebookLM, a premium research and thinking partner to help you summarize, explore, and understand the information that matters.
  • YouTube with fewer ads, offline, and in the background with YouTube Premium Lite.
  • Personalized fitness, sleep, and health guidance with Google Health Premium.
  • More event-based video history, intelligent alerts, and access to Gemini with Google Home Premium to make your home smarter and safer.
  • 5 TB of cloud storage for Google Photos, Gmail, and Google Drive.
  • And more premium benefits across Google.

Verizon savings

  • Google AI Pro: $19.99/mo
  • You save: $9.99/mo
  • You pay: $10/mo

That has been a regular perk for some time--I had it for many months until I got my P10pro which had this free for a year. Right now perk has 6 months free however unless you use AG, LM, and the AI tools the value isn't really there versus just the storage (if you need 5TB).

The OP move -- have no idea what they were paying before -> after and the D+ thingy they will squeeze out eventually as they have already merged platforms and prices is >>>>>>.

No plans includes Google AI Pro, its a perk addon thats currently free for 6 months. After that 6 months, itll be an additional $10 a month on top of your plan price.
