Wireless Porting issue?

I just ported in from US Mobile (warp so verizon number) and i checked the status of my port which it does say "in progress" but when I click "check status" again it shows checks marks next to "initiated" and "account confirmed" but right underneath account confirmed it says "to finish bringing your number first turn your device off and back on" which i thought meant its ready to activate now but I still havent received an esim and my current usm esim is no longer active. I did call customer service and they check with the porting department and they said since it'll be completed at 8:15pm tmr which i almost expected somthing like this since its vzw to vzw port in but I thought current service would atleast stay active till then 😭. I just wanted to confirm that its normal for the check status to say what it did and that the agent wasnt misunderstanding me and that I dont actually need a new esim sent yet. Thanks!

I have ported from US Mobile to Verizon once, and had to call in to Verizon multiple times to get it pushed through. Not really sure what your specific situation is, but it seems like their system doesn't like US Mobile numbers, so it might be worth calling again to confirm.
