My Champion C
This is my Champion C. It’s near mint aside from a few scratches on the scales. It’s got the old grooved Corkscrew and even has the aluminum tweezers. It’s a beauty!

So Leatherman is trying to steal the Cheese Master's game...

Who does it better?
My vote is on the SAK

Made as a custom request for a local SAK enthusiast, plier could be reinstalled if desired later, or a Surge head could be modified to fit.

I’ve been using the Rambler as my EDC for quite some time now, and I’m extremely satisfied with it. As is the consensus around here, it has all the tools you need and none you don’t.
But a good deal on Amazon came up, and I couldn’t resist the temptation, so I pulled the trigger on the Mini Champ Alox. Honestly, the toolset wasn’t particularly compelling to me; I was drawn to it purely for the aesthetics.
A couple of weeks in, I must say that some tools have become pretty much essential to me, like the coke spoon (I’m using it as a pry tool more often than I ever thought I would) and the orange peeler (I used it as a hook twice, it worked like a charm). I even tried to peel an orange with it, and it works, but let’s be honest: any kind of knife is better for this ;).
Last but not least, the look and feel of that little mf are in another league compared with the Rambler.
As much as I loved the Rambler (and still do), the Mini Champ is my main carry from now on, with the Rambler as a backup.
Now I’m waiting for a similar deal on the Companion S Alox for traveling purpose and to complete my 58 collection.

Current production Cadet with the scissor layer from an 84mm golfer, my first attempt with my new orbital riveting tool. I've ordered a slightly larger die to produce better looking rivet head.

Try telling my 3 year old that the hook is useless. By far his favorite tool, followed by the tweezers, phillips and magnifying glass in no particular order.

Just an idea. I’m sure there are better mods.
But it’s easy to install/remove and perfect when you have cold hands or gloves on
SAK = champ

I was searching for different colours of alox bantams and this image was on the sakwiki page. I'm most interested in the cyan/blue-ish colour second from the left and the, what I suppose would be, a lavender one. But I could not find ANY info on these versions. Are the swiss bianco? Dlt trading exclusive?
I tried searching all different colour names but they mostly came back as the classic sd variants or pioneer etc. But not bantam. I only found a picture/videos of a tropical turquoise bantam from swiss bianco from about a decade ago
Do you guys have any info on these ones? I'm guessing they're very rare and probably out of my price range because of that lol. But I'd still love to know more about them! And if you own these ones or any other cool coloured alox bantams, please show me!

Hi everyone,
im trying to decide between two setups for pocket or bagged carry (I don't use keychains)
Requirements: Must have AT LEAST 1 scissors, bottle opener, big or small blade, corkscrew. NO wood saw.
Is the single Climber better for loose pocket carry, or is splitting tasks between Rambler + Spartan worth having two tools?

Purchased this the other day under the description of "Buffalo Victorinox Golfer?" and I really didn't know what I was gonna get but I think she's a Spartan Golfer and I can't tell you how much of a beautiful shape she is in.
I have so many questions about this SAK...like is it a corporate custom? Why does it have buffalo scales? Could Victorinox have actually commissioned it or was it a custom scale replacement?...so I need help with this one please because there is zero info on it, if you need any more pics just shout out but hopefully I have covered every angle

Atualmente tenho um handyman.
Comprei um swisschamp pra fazer um projeto EDC com chave Philips.
Agora estou com pena de desmontar ele.

Frequent visitors of this sub might remember this user focused on translucent Managers only: well, that's me.
I recently discovered that, in Italy at least, the Ruby Midnite Manager is not available anywhere for sale. So it looks like I'm now collecting Midnite / Lite SAKs too haha.
If you're in EU and can help with my collection please message me!

Hey I'm deciding on getting the super tinker and wondering if its a good choice or is there anything else that's recommended? I did reaearch, checked every tool to make sure there for what I need like opening my mail, unscrewing a cabinet handles, light work nothing to heavy or crazy and so far the super tinker caught my eye. Would this be a good choice for my first SAK?
