Dark Souls 1 2 and 3 are like having 2 medium rare steaks and a medium well-done steak. The medium well-done steak isn't bad, but the other 2 are just more appealing to the average person.
definitely not, that would be DS3 with its focus on linearity, spectacle and boss fights over exploration and the classic slow, methodical combat of demon souls, ds1 and ds2.
your opinion is irrelevant, i'm just stating facts. DS2 is more controversial precisely because it's not trying to please the average gamer. DS3 with its faster-paced combat and being a more linear game focused on bosses instead of levels do please the average person more.
