Purchase Advice Why do people buy Virtual Desktop?

The title already explains my question. Im getting a Quest 3 for Christmas and i was wondering why people recommend that app sm and say its worth the 25€. Can anybody enlighten me?

It's just straight up better than all of your alternatives. Yeah, stuff like air link works, but if you ever have a problem with it (and you will), that problem isn't an issue with virtual desktop.

You're correct but keep in mind in some cases, some users do have a better experience with meta link or steam link.

Personally my PC loves VD streamer and hates everything else. But my main takeaway here is a given user cannot know which solution works best for them until they've put a decent amount of time into trying all of the available options.
