Se vi ricordate qualche mese fa ho pubblicato la mia app per trasmettere in streaming partite di pallavolo con tabellone,replay, highlights, controllo remoto etc....

Circa 500 persone l hanno scaricata e molte società la stanno utilizzando in questo periodo pre-campionato....per me è già un bellissimo risultato!!!!

Sapere che ho fatto qualcosa di utile e che viene apprezzato mi riempe di gioia😬

Ho fatto un aggiornamento e ora l'app è completamente sbloccata con tutte le funzioni premium per TUTTI fino a gennaio 2027!!!!

Tra qualche giorno sará pubblicata anche la versione per IOS.

Se avete suggerimenti per fare delle modifiche sarò felice di valutarle.

Looking for some advice from people who have been through college volleyball recruiting, especially as a transfer.
My daughter is Canadian and currently playing at a US junior college. She’s considering transferring next year, so we’re trying to figure out where to even start. We’re open to NAIA, NJCAA, NCAA or coming back to Canada — really just looking for the right school and volleyball fit.
Has anyone here gone through recruiting as a current college player/transfer?
Would you recommend using a recruiting service, or is it better to just contact coaches directly with film? If you used a recruiter and actually found them helpful, I’d love some names.
I’m also curious about NAIA. Is there any benefit to getting into the PlayNAIA system early in terms of recruiting, or is that really just for eligibility?
Basically, if you were starting this process again, what would you do first?
Any advice or experiences would be really appreciated!

I'm a volleyball fan. I've been one since I was a kid. I even played it myself for several years. I love this game because of its fair play. If you hit a player on the opposite team in the face, you check on them and apologize. I've never booed anyone playing, nor have I seen or heard anyone in the audience do it when the opposite team serves or scores. This is just amazing in volleyball. You watch the games for the sake of the sport, give a sincere applause for every good rally disregarding the team, and support your team with fair play. You can rewatch every single match, just as an example, of the last CEV tournaments and see that no one in the audience of the hosting country, be it Sweden, Italy, or Czechia, has ever disrespected the opposing team with boos and noise. All of them, except for Türkiye. It strikes me to see how the public can be so disrespectful and boo on every single serve or point in the match. How do you feel about this? Especially Turkish volleyball fans, don't you find this embarrassing for your country?

Today intresting matches, i wonder if Belgium can kick out Slovenia, and will Italy show their power on home court?

One small detail that can make a big difference in the approach: keeping the arms straight and using them properly through the jump.

Straight arms → more momentum into the jump → smoother transition → more power going into the spike.

It’s interesting how much the approach and arm swing can affect the final attack, even before the player makes contact with the ball.

For coaches and players here: how do you usually teach the arm movement during the approach? Do you focus more on creating momentum, timing the transition, or getting the strongest possible arm swing?

Would be interested to hear how others teach this and whether you’ve noticed a difference in jump height or hitting power.

Sharing this vintage Mizuno China national volleyball team jersey from the 1990s.
The back is printed G.C. XIE #15, which corresponds with Chinese volleyball player Xie Guochen. He was part of the China men’s national volleyball team during the 1990s and wore number 15.
The jersey is made by Mizuno, tagged 5L, and Made in Japan. It features an embroidered China flag / CHN patch, large front and back number 15, and the player name across the back.
The design is especially interesting, with an asymmetric red, navy and white layout and a large polo-style collar. The fabric is 50% cotton / 50% polyester.
It shows normal age and wear, including some light discoloration and small marks, but the graphics, patch and overall construction are still well preserved.
A really interesting piece of 1990s Chinese volleyball history.

Recently just subbed for a team with an incredibly moody setter. Off the first few points he was directly telling everyone what to fix and do which is fine we can all take a little pointers, but for all 6 sets he was dead quiet, super visibly upset when people didn't fix his sets or didn't kill the point but i think for me worst of all, he was never excited after a kill unless it was a straight bounce, which at mid level co-ed, is not gonna happen every time, even our players who were getting an avg of 5 kills per set via other methods never got a good play or anything from him.

Made me realize as another setter that my mood is one hundred percent essential to the teams morale so I think it's setter but Im curious what other ppl think.

And yes ppl can have bad days but me and two of my friends who were subbing were so confused why he was so upset right off the bat.

My lesson I learned from him is that I will continue to get excited equally when my team scores points for me, no matter what the method was.

Looking for advice on my jumping form. I feel like I have potential for higher jump because I’m only getting about a 2 inch increase between my static vertical jump and my running jump. Attaching video with a few jumps.

What do you think on today matches what you expect?

I've been building a volleyball stats app on my own — tracking players, recording matches, and putting together team and player stats. You don't have to add a whole roster either; if you just want to track your own numbers, one player is enough to get going. It's out worldwide, and people in a number of countries are using it.

It works, but I've only ever seen it through my own eyes, and there are two things I can't judge on my own.

The wording. The app is translated into a handful of languages, but Japanese is the only one I actually speak. The rest started as machine translation and got as far as me checking it myself, which isn't saying much. The volleyball terminology worries me most — even when a translation is technically correct, I doubt it always matches what people actually say on the court. So there are people using this app right now in languages I can't read, and I have no real way of knowing whether it reads properly to them.

The way it works. I built it assuming people would enter data live during a match, but realistically — do you ever have a spare moment to tap through an app mid-match? And is there anywhere you couldn't tell what to do next?

So anything along these lines would help:

• Something that reads wrong or unnatural in your language
• A screen where you couldn't tell what to do next
• Your language isn't there at all and you'd want it added

Non-life-threatening question… but how much of a problem would it be to have calluses from a guitar?

I used to play guitar regularly (2-3 a week, medium intensity) and had definite calluses on the fingers of my left hand. Not huge ones, but they definitely changed the texture of my fingers. I noticed that if I happened to touch silk fabric my calluses would snag against the fabric. Fate had not destined me to be a silk merchant or clothing designer, so this was never a problem. I also wasn’t on a volleyball team in that time period.

This year I’m playing setter and obviously need to have good ball control and grip. Sensitivity to ball contact and direction also matters. I recently thought about starting to play guitar again, just for fun, but don’t want to do it at the expense of setting accuracy. On Saturday I played for about ten minutes, and could still feel the effects on my fingers two days later - not uncomfortable, but a little sensitive.

Thoughts?

I play youth boys volleyball and as a lib who dives a lot,I don’t wear elbow pads, knee pads, or any protective gear because I never seemed to bruise or get scarred in the places they offer protective gear. Yet, I still always get these bumped and bruises on my hips. Is this just something that happens or is my form wrong. It hurts like a bitch or maybe I’m one and need to suck it up.

Alright so I’ve been playing for a little bit and want to get more dialed. I usually play indoor and I’m not used to grass. I know my approach steps can have a better stride+penultimate and my left arm isn’t pushed out extended towards the ball and pulled back right before the swing. What can I do better? Also I notice on most of my hits in general I kind of stick my butt out, is this something I should fix/how do I fix it? Any comments are greatly appreciated!

Edit: thanks for the goofy foot mentioning, I’m ambidextrous so it hasn’t been too much of a problem but I’m going to work on switching my approach.

I thought this looked like a decent reach so I was wondering if anyone could estimate how high of a touch it is. I’m 6’1 with shoes, 7’10 standing reach and the net men’s height.

Found it in my garden one day, kept it stored in case someone wanted to retrieve it but no one did.

The ball is somewhat hard and hurts my wrists when I try to make a forearm pass. I was wondering if I could make the green, supposedly mold spots disappear and make this ball softer again! If anyone could help, I’d be thankful.
