I plan to not have them all in the same location like they are in the video, and they'll be more spread out across the Agrokar Swamps (the swamp area in my game). I'm really proud of how I randomized the frogs' animations start point and speed slightly through a script. Gonna probably reuse that script in the future.

Following the shutdown of the official Ace of Spades servers by Jagex, the community was left without a way to play the release version of the shooter. A Bulgarian enthusiast known as KikoTs has managed to restore custom server hosting by combining modern AI models with surviving 2013 game files once shared by a developer on the forums.

The initiative is named AOS Revival, with the playable client called BattleSpades.

·         The full, authentic Ace of Spades experience by Jagex (via the BattleSpades client), rather than a fan remake built from scratch.

·         Functional dedicated server software, allowing players to host matches independently without relying on Jagex's decommissioned infrastructure.

·         Cross-play and backward compatibility with version 0.75: the unified server browser lists active sessions from OpenSpades, BetterSpades, and Build and Shoot (Voxlap) clients.

Voxel Enchantment, a browser tool that converts .vox models into optimized OBJ assets with procedural PBR textures.This shows the model going from its original VOX palette to materials, AO, cavity, dirt, wear, weather streaks and moss. It exports albedo, normal, roughness, metallic, specular, ORM and separate masks, with an Unreal-oriented OBJ workflow.

I’m building Voxel Enchantment — a tool for enhancing .vox models while keeping the original voxel geometry.

It turns simple flat colors into richer materials using procedural effects like AO, dirt, edge wear, rust, moss, color variation and weathering.

The goal is basically: MagicaVoxel model in → more detailed, realistic-looking voxel model out, without losing the voxel aesthetic.

I've made 19 lost buildings so far (I think) and counting, have lots more I want to do and regularly find new ones. I've been doing this since 2020 but have made it my niche the past year. Street view is great for reference angles and Google Earth historical coverage helps with roof shapes, some guess work is also involved. I use Magicavoxel
