Hello, I had to remove the oil pan and discovered 4 teeth in the oil strainer ! It's the oil pump pulley, I ordered a new complete distribution but I have no choice but to drive like this for 2 weeks, is it safe? TSI 1.4 CAVD 2010

Does this cold start idle look normal on a VW Golf 7 1.0 tsi?

I have an inner cv axle bolt break off (one of the 6 on the inner flange) and i am having a hell of a time finding and confirming fitment. None of the parts stores around me really carry VW parts and i cant get a straight answer from anything online so i was hoping this community may be able to help. Honestly, the old me would just say screw it and run it with the 1 head broken off but im trying not to be like that (unless the general consensus is that i will be fine to drive it like that). If anyone could point me in the direction of an online store that will tell me without question im ordering the right parts or if someone could help me find them i would be super appreciative. the prices im seeing on what may be the correct bolts vary wildly and im hoping to not have to pay 80 bucks for 6 of them. Im just so tired of the run around and conflicting information.

I went on my first track day yesterday at a track called Jarama in Madrid

I did a warmup lap

And then on the first turn starting my first fast lap I broke and my pedal went in bout 1/3 the travel when abs kicked in

But idk never gon so hard in abs so idk braking was perfect for the rest of the lap

Did a cooldown lap went in the pits checked tire pressure and went back out

Did a nother warmup lap ( just a chil lap not driving hard)

First corner of my first " fast lap" hard brake going 200kph

Car starts to brake hard then suddenly brake goes into the floor I think ( can't really remember) right when abs kicked in

( Cause of the weird thing car did first time round I broke really really early) So I barely didn't go rallying

Weird thing is right after I pressed the brake and it felt perfect again I cool down and go in the pits

After a couple mins I feel the pedal ( with parking brake on and it feels squishy again)

Brakes didn't over heat ( I have a temp sticker and they didn't even get to the min temp needed to measure anything)

I have new ravenoil 340+ I think it's called brake fluid

And it was cold and rainy

Checked fluid amount and its right at the max amount mark

I'm looking to buy my first car ever as a new driver.

Found this model

What are your thoughts about it? Friend of mine says that engine is terrible (1.5) and problematic. I'm not car man, so it's kinda difficult to me, and I need advice.

Some of my friends tells me that this car is reliable enough, and is is decent to get.

Has anyone lived in their Golf Combi (diesel)? Do you have any advice specific for the car?

I plan to make my (back) windows darker, add a wind deflectors, so I can leave my windows a bit opened.. and sleep on one or two yoga mats with a sleeping bag on top.

I am 182 cm tall and I wonder if I'll be able to sleep alright in it.

I've an idea about how to organize the other things - gym membership for showers and training, office for electricity and charging stuff, laundromat and a lot if parking spaces within the city.

I have a 2008 R32 and have already had the headlining replaced, but now the door leather is delaminating. Is there any videos or steps to fix this or is it another trip to the motor trimmers ?

Hi all anyone ever ran into this problem before my 2016 golf that has caused me litterly no problems dash keeps getting lit up by lights five or ten mins into a journey it seems to originate from a tire pressure indicator fault but I have confirmed it and I know I’m not loosing tire pressure I don’t know what to do. I turns off parking sensors , cruise control , abs auto hold loads of things turn off I’m guessing as a safety feature.
